Chiptronex GAM X 240 GB 3D NAND 2.5 inch SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

It lasted only 9 months and it just failed. And there is no way of claiming a warranty even though it said it provide 3 years. Didn't receive any reply what so ever.

It is a very impressive product. I am very happy because this disk performance is great. I placed order on 29th April 2021 and delivered this SSD on 03-May-2021. I have no words... I like it😎😎😎~ WAIT FOR MY REPLY BECAUSE I WILL REPLY AGAIN ~

i usually don't write reviews, but this ssd was so worth the price and performance was amazingmy pc used to take 5-6mins to completely boot upnow it takes 10-15secs to completely boot uphighly recommend this ssd for a boot driveand it is running on a system that was manufactured on 2009so compatibility wil not be an issue, but before you install this on an older system like mebe sure to change the partition from gpt to mbras bios boot systems dont support gptmy advice is close your eyes and go for ityou wont regret it10/10 on build quality10/10 on performance

After 6 months of use bad sectors started to appear and ssd started to slow down a lot, finally it's on its last legs today with applications not launching nor the OS reacting after boot up.The life cycle of my ssd is just 28 days of use.And be careful with warrenty, the box says to email at chiptronex.com but the site doesn't work.I would say buy from a better company. 👎🏻

The speed is awesome.......aprox 10times faster than a old hdd but offers 224gb only with the gap of 16gb, it is not realy a 240gb ssdBut i could not't understand the actual speed of this ssdI just tried to check using a free software but couldn't understand the result which i shared as a screenshotPlz some one say at least which type of sata cable supported my pcBecause i know that sata-||| cable can produce maximum 600mb/s so i am having this dought...Plz solve it.. if some one know it

Initial item did not work, none of the system recognize the drive and was unable to format. First drive had some data already and locked (seems like an used drive was sent across) and also inside product label and warranty sticker was missing already. Placed a replacement which I received the very next day and that worked perfectly and was able to clean install windows 10 directly on to the SSD from USB stick.Before installing the drive connect the drive to a working system to ensure there is no data and that your drive will be recognized by the system.

Looking at tge latest NVME drives the random read write is slow. But the offered price range is ok for starters of NVME. As the seq read is good about 1600MBps which improved my NUC performance a lot.
