I was lucky enough to get the right length of straps on the first try. Highly recommend wrapping a measuring tape where the straps will go on your boots before purchasing.Leather is a bit stiff, but durable.Good balance between both price and quality.

I’m usually a nylon strap kind of person, but I thought I’d give these a go for my Ovation winter tall boots. They’re functional, just the right thickness, about the right price (considering everything is expensive), & the rivets for the buckle ends are smooth on the boot side of the leather, so leather boots won’t get scratched.

This item was incorrectly made so the leather that holds the buckle is bend backwards so when you put on the strap, the back of the retaining rivet and bent leather are to the outside. Obviously this is a manufacturing defect. Amazon agreed to replace. Hopefully the new one does not have the same defect.*Replacement came it had the defect as well. Don’t waste your money.* spoke to Weaver. They said this is not a Weaver defect. They make them with the rivet to the outside so the rivet does not scratch your boot. This does not explain the way the leather is bent and I have never had my boots scratched by other correctly made straps. Obviously disappointed by Weaver’s comments. Do not recommend.

Great if you have smaller (under 12 US) feet.
