Fantastic!!
This is a spectacular cutting mat!! Firstly, it truly is as odorless as I think any mat could ever be. I can only detect a very faint sweet smell which I think must be the natural material itself, and only by pressing my nose to it. I gave it to my extremely chemically sensitive daughter to examine and she did not react at all which never happens. Usually it takes 30 seconds of chemical exposure for her to be sick. I am using it for paper cutting and the cuts heal smoothly and quickly. The surface is firm and it lies flat. It did not come folded, thankfully, but I still had to place a few books on it overnight to get rid of a very slight warp. It's fine now. Even for those who think they are not sensitive to chemicals...why take a chance? This is a far superior product to the cheap, noxious products made in China!!!

Not Rotary Blade Friendly!
Nice sturdy mat, but don’t use it with rotary cutters! It dulled my new blade after just a few cuts to the point where the blade had to be replaced. Blades are too expensive to blow through so quickly. I won’t be using this mat again.

No odors!
I received this today, in excellent condition. I'm very pleased that it does not have any strong chemical odors. I ordered the small mat to use it for several weeks, to see if I want to buy the large tabletop size from them. I use a mat every day for rotary cutting for quilts.

This was not completely flat upon arrival, but a large dictionary and a few hours took care of that. I quilt a lot and I purchased this to keep next to my sewing machine for quick cutting when I am paper piecing.

Great Mat but a few minor glitches
This mat is very nice, it is thicker and l like how nice it lays and it doesn't have an odd odor. I have two observations, one is that some of the lines, especially the outside ones, are thick and I would like them to be thinner so when cutting there wasn't so much of a line that could throw off measurements. As someone else mentioned, one side is in inches and the other side is metric so here in the US the metric side isn't helpful if you want to flip the mat to get a longer life. If the lines were thinner and the mat was in inches on both sides I would definitely purchase the larger mat as I really do like the construction, very sturdy.
