Excellent quality
Love this activity mat. Well made, great quality. Good range of difficulty, although the envelope task is definitely the hardest as the Velcro is heavy duty, and my small dog has difficulty in nosing it open, but she loves it and it definitely tires her out. Looking forward to adding more tasks to it.

Really Great Toy for Bored or Smart Dogs
This is an amazing toy. I just got a puppy and didn't think she'd be ready for things like this yet, but decided to give it a go. She's already getting bored and wants something to do. She loves this and it keeps her busy for quite a while. I mean, for one thing to keep the attention of an 8 week old puppy for half an hour... Well, it's really a miracle toy. I use her food and one treat for the puzzles so that she doesn't get sick. She only does the easier puzzles now, but she's so smart. I like that this is a game that I can make more challenging as she gets older. I still have to watch her with this toy because she wants to chew everything. This isn't a chew toy and I wouldn't leave her alone with it.I think this is the best toy I've ever seen for a dog. The ghost of Yetta, who approves of life going on, told me this would be a fabulous toy. She said she would've loved it, but also she doesn't hold a grudge against me because we didn't know about it. Yetta's favorite game was to find treats. Willa is my new puppy and she also loves finding treats. Harvey, my 11 year old dog, loves eating treats. He also does some of the more challenging puzzles, but is more interested in eating the treat when Willa solves the puzzle. Anyway, he's not allowed to do that, but isn't that even smarter than solving puzzles?

Best dog toy I have ever purchased
My Beagle generally does not care for toys, but is very treat motivated. She is a rescue and she did not seem initially to know how to play. Even though I know she does not care for toys, I have still bought so many of them, always hoping to find something that will enrich her life. She will engage with ones that dispense treats, but because she is also smart, she figures them out quickly. This activity is an exception. It is by far the best purchase I have ever made for her (including the super expensive "CleverPet"). We have had it now for two years & she is just as engaged as she was initially. She gets very excited when she sees the bag!I do recommend supervision & it takes a few minutes to set up. Also, even with direct supervision she has still chewed through some of the pockets (as others have noted), but all are still usable (just easier). I will periodically purchase replacement parts as long as they are available.

Better than other puzzles we've tried!
I have two 70 pound dogs, a Staffordshire Terrier and an American Bulldog. I was a little unsure if this would work for large dogs, but it's actually pretty good. Their snouts fit in the envelopes with ease and it kept them more entertained than other dog puzzles we've purchased. Most of the time, my American bulldog can figure a treat puzzle out in seconds, this one had her stumped and she loved it! The only negative thing I will say is, if you are purchasing this for a large dog, they can pull the puzzles right off the mat. I sat with each of them as they worked on it and had to reattach the puzzles a few times. I don't know that it was quite worth the $65, I had some Discover points so I got it cheaper. It's great for a rainy day activity.

Five Stars from a Dog Trainer
This mat keeps my dog busy for a good ten minutes and it really tires her out. I've used it with seven or eight clients' dogs (I'm a dog trainer) as well. One of them was uninterested but the others stayed with it for five minutes or more. Dogs need mental exercise as much as physical exercise, and this is a good way to give it to them. I really like that you can buy extra activities to add to the mat, and that you can arrange them to be easy at first and then when your dog has figured them out, you can make them more challenging. You do have to supervise them when they use it, though, and take it away when they've found all the treats. It's really well made for what it is, but once all the treats are gone, some dogs try to chew up the pieces.

Fun toy for dog and for you to watch
Fun to watch the dog navigate the challenges on the mat. After about three tries our dog figured this out and now can solve these three in about three minutes and since then we've added more challenges. It's entertaining for us to watch and keeps her busy for a while which can be nice. The only complaint on have is that the dowel that makes the envelope more challenging should be made out of solid hard plastic. Our dog, after she had completed the challenges on the mat chewed the dowel up into splinters. Kruuse, if you are reading this, can I get another dowel or do you have a plastic version?.

Great for our beagle!
This is a well made toy. We purchased the mat which comes with 3 activities, and 2 additional activities. Our beagle watched us putting his treats in the different container pockets, and afger giving him the go ahead it took him about 20 mins to take apart all 5 activities to get to his treats. I was hoping that it would occupy him for a longer amount of time, but for a dog who figured out how to turn off the TV and get on the kitchen island by pulling out the drawers, we will take what we can get. At least he isn't destroying anything. The mat and activities seem well made and don't contain any loose small parts. Then again, some reviewers mentioned the snaps coming off, but despite some severe dog handling by our beagle they remained securely fastened. I highly recommend this for an intelligent and inquisitive pet.

Genial aunque excesivamente caro!

Most likely great for smaller dogs
The level of enjoyment you get from this is really down to personal experience on how your dog reacts to it. That been said I think it is a very sturdy and well made activity set for you and your dog to have a few minutes of fun together. My dog is a large breed (currently 34kg) and did find that getting her nose into the small stiff pockets quite difficult which frustrated her somewhat, so you may want to not consider this unless your dog is smaller. She pawed and used her teeth quite a bit trying to recover the treats and to the mats credit, it held up very well and I can't see any visual damage. One of the envelopes poppers is a little bent however and is very difficult to then secure it to the matt properly. The first time I used it it just flew straight off and I've had issue getting it to stay since, whilst the other 2 activities stay in place. I'm also not keen on the wooden peg for the envelope. This is too difficult a 'setting' for my dog at the moment, but I do imagine it being chewed and drooled on and not being very pleasant very quickly, unlike the rest of the mat which wipes down easily. There is a little pocket in the supplied bag which you can keep small items like it and to be honest I think that one will stay there!I think I'd only consider buying extras for this mat if they had bigger openings more suitable for the size of my dog.

Buster Activity Mat Starter Set with 3 Tasks - Poppers have to be Got Off With Ours
Seems a brilliant idea but dependent on if your dog is a really bad chewer and destroyer or not I think. Sadly ours is both of those things. The mat itself seems hard wearing no would most likely be for the majority of dog or puppies. However ours showed more interest in where the poppers were attached and wanted them got rid of rather than actually trying to work out how to get the treats. Certainly a good idea to put it together in another room but even then ours got dragged around a lot. Then lay on for him to recover from the spell of trying to get the poppers off.For me it seems a good idea sometime for both you and dog to play together and if cold weather a way of some simple exercise indoors, especially so for smaller flat nosed breed dogs that have issues with the cold weather. Ours is a Boston terrier so thought this would come in ideal for the cold weather now. Also with it being all rolled up an easy item for storing when not in use the only thing for me is the price tag as it seems expensive for us with a dog that chews and shreds. For someone without a shredder dog they might think it great but us and a dog that seems to even kill indestructible beds not so good.

Great idea, but mine was slightly faulty
This is flippin awesome, i cant even tell you how much i love it, its just brilliant.I am disabled and have a dog and there are days that i cannot manage to walk her and i have to try and entertain her at home, which can be really tricky. I have a Siberian Husky who are one of the hardest breeds to own. They need constant attention and training and i thought this would be great to keep her entertained. This really is an exceptional product, simple idea, easy to modify, and has 3 levels of difficulty. The mat is a bit on the small side, its 27 inches by 19 inches. There are 35 press studs in total spaced 4 inches apart. There are 2 rods on the ends for additional stability, mine however has been assembled incorrectly and is in fact curved around the press studs in 3 places so one end isnt straight. If i had bought this, i would of sent it back for this reason. You get 3 tasks with this one 2 are Level 1 difficulty. You get the Cone cloth, and Water Lily, and then one at Level 2, which is the envelope. You can buy 9 additional tasks for this all at varying difficulty, these are:Level 1: Springroll Purse with One Pocket Level 2: Rat Trap Rainbow Purse Task Book Purse with Three Pockets Level 3: Top Hat Mouse Trap Rock-n-Roll My dog enjoyed the 3 tasks that are included, however she did struggle with some of them due to the size, she did get rather frustrated, but this just added to the mental stimulation. There is a huge bag included to keep everything in, there is plenty of room to add any additional tasks you want to buy, and its about the size of a yoga mat bag, so easy to shove in the car when going away.I am very impressed with it, i think personally the mat needs to be a bit bigger to accommodate bigger dogs, the mat needs to be much heavier, my dog, just by scratching it managed to lift it off the floor and upside down, the press studs also need to be more robust as with just a small pull the tasks came right off. There needs to be better quality control, as you would of thought that as i was given a sample, that sample would be perfect. As a result 4 stars overall.
