So many great things to say about these bowls - Where do I start?
I love these 1.5 quart bowls and use them every day.GREAT TO USE TO:- Cook oatmeal in the microwave. Because of their shape (roomy on top) the oatmeal doesn't overflow and make a mess! What a relief that is!- Serve large individual soups or salads, for example a pho or a grain/veggie bowl.- Use as a small mixing bowl.GREAT FEATURES OF THESE 1.5 QUART BOWLS- They are break-resistant, and even after a couple of years of regular use, none of the bowls have broken or chipped.- They are light and easy to pick up.- They are stackable, so they don't take up much space in the cabinet.- You can easily and neatly pour liquids out of them and into another container!

Best salad dishes ever!
I bought these intending to use them for salads and pasta and they are just perfect. We are seniors who love large meal-size salads and the slope, large size, and very light weight make perfect dishes for mixing and tossing ingredients. Corelle 29-oz salad bowls are great for soup, fruit, veggies, or cereal, but are much too narrow for tossing salads; and plates are just too mess . These bowls hit the spot! They are also great for matzo ball soup and stews of all kinds.

Classic and durable
Love these and have owned corelle products for many years and they always look classy and hold up. I'm notorious for breaking dishes and these have all held up great, no chipping. Great for serving bowls or large bowls of soup.

Corelle is the Best!
Lightweight and perfect size for salad, rice bowl, or pasta bowl. I like the fact that you can have a bowl where the contents do not fall out when mixing the contents together. The 1 quart bowls looked too small for my needs and the 2 quart bowls would have been a tad large to use as an individual serving bowl. I just wish they had a round bowl in the 1.5 quart size.

Great quality but a bit pricey
I love these bowls. I bought some of these for daily use several years ago and they still look perfect. My guests think they are beautiful. I liked them so much I recently bought a few more. My only complaint is these bowls are a little pricey, so I'm rating this product 4 stars for that reason... if they were 30% or so less expensive I would have gone with 5 stars.

A versatile addition to family dinnerware, for serving or super-sized snacking
This is exactly the size and shape of bowl for serving a few people, or for whopper dishes of ice cream. We already had sets of Corelle dishes, but having bowls of this size and in this novel squarish-shape has added a lot to the usefulness of our dinnerware set. It’s the perfect size between a cereal bowl and a large serving bowl.

We LOVE these!!!
We bought these several years ago and use them for so many things...large salads, pasta and just as a serving bowl for side dishes. I love Corelle and know these will continue to serve us for many years!

We like this dishware style
We like this style of dishes. Everything is "square", with rounded corners. They take up less room per volume in the cabinets, which is an engineering thing. Unlike traditional round dishes, these can be stacked at angles for an interesting "presentation". For example, I'll put a square bowl on a square plate, but at a 45 degree angle. Its not much, but has an effect. We already had six of these larger bowls, and then one of them inexplicably cracked in half after removing it from our dishwasher. We were quite surprised by that. Shopping locally for replacement bowls failed, so I ordered the four-bowl set. We also have a dozen or so of the smaller bowls (individual size); these larger bowls are more of a "serving size".
