What’s the coating material does it contain Teflon?

We asked the Manufacturer and they replied: "This product uses a non-stick coating using PTFE, the same found in the brand Teflon. Please note, all of our products are tested and approved by Intertek and our ETL certified for safe use."

Can a regular boxed cake mix be used or would you have to add extra ingredients to cake mix such as milk instead of water...extra egg...pudding mix?

You just make the box cake mix as it states. And everything will come out just fine. We always use box cake mix and follow the instructions on the box. And they always came out good

My cake balls deflated, they were perfect on bottom, but deflated on top. Is this my batter? Anyone can help that would be great! Thanks!

I tried it with boxed cake mix, homemade banana muffin mix and boxed brownie batter. Almost everything did come out a bit deflated. It's hard to fill the little well up enough for the ball but not too much or it'll spill out the middle and make what I call Saturn's (like the planet). I never got attractive balls with anything I tried. Also, I bought a batter dispenser with a squeeze handle for quick filling so the balls are not so different on the cooking time.
