After seeing so many reviews here mentioning the bad smell from their package of loom bands, I just wanted to mention that the package I received had NO BAD SMELLS at all. I ordered this package from ToysNGamesEtc in November, and liked them so much that I ordered from them again in December. Both orders arrived before Christmas. BTW, the product comes with S clips. I ended up purchasing a separate package of clips with my first order because this was not mentioned in the product description. No biggie, they'll all be put to good use. There's no such thing as too many clips, especially when you make a lot of smaller items like rings. The colors on these bands are just as pictured in the product photo and in some ways look even better than the bands that came with the original Rainbow Loom kit. However I did notice that these bands feel a little thinner and they are much more stretchy than the original bands; they're so stretchy that you may even feel that the bands might break since they become thinner as you stretch them. But no need to worry. We made several bracelets that required quite a bit of stretching and nothing broke. So far we have run into just one pink band that seemed a little thinner than the rest and might break while doing the looping part of the bracelet (after placing all the bands and turning the loom around), so we just carefully pulled that band out and replaced it with another one and continued on to complete the bracelet. I really wouldn't make a big deal out of a few broken bands in this set because I still come out ahead due to the bargain price it is offered here; it is still more economical than buying smaller packages elsewhere. Right now it comes out to 2.50 per pack of 600 bands! Excellent value indeed. This would cost more elsewhere. I also wanted to point out that when I'm comparing these bands to the bands that come with the Rainbow Loom kit, I'm talking about the "original" kit from Choon's Design and not any of the counterfeit or knock off kits. After my 8 yr old daughter opened her Christmas present, I compared her loom to the pictures on the Rainbow Loom company website (you can Google search for it) with tips for identifying the original product (or rather, how to spot counterfeit looms) and confirmed that the one I got is an original. I bought my Rainbow Loom from Michael's. I'm so glad I had the foresight to purchase extra refill bands because she went bonkers with the Rainbow Loom and went through all 600 bands that came with the kit in just a couple of days. Jan 10, 2014 update: I am so pleased with this purchase and my daughter couldn't be happier. I just noticed the price dropped to 15.95 (which comes to 2 bucks per pack of 600 bands). I could not pass this up and just placed my 3rd order for this set of 4800 loom bands. Great product and can never have too many bands. We have no problems making the more advanced style bracelets with them. I just want to mention again that the bands I received in my previous 2 orders did not smell bad at all, certainly not as bad as some other reviewers have mentioned. Mine do not smell any worse than regular office supply type rubber bands. I think these people may have purchased their set from a different seller whose product is not the same as the one I received from ToysNGamesEtc.

My 6 year old is totally obsessed with these rubber band loom bracelets. I've sat down and made a couple myself and they're fun to pass the time. We purchased the original kit on clearance at a big box store and bought the 2 or 3 extra bags of rubber bands that were also clearanced with the kit. It didn't take more than about a week or so for her to blaze through those rubber bands, so naturally I hopped onto Amazon Smile to find a smokin' deal. These rubber bands definitely deliver that deal. At almost 5000 pieces for $10 shipped to my door with Prime 2 Day shipping, how can you go wrong? The rubber bands are good quality, if not better, than the ones that came with the original kit. The colors are vibrant and make for a variety of cute bracelets. My husband bought her a tackle box with 8 compartments to sort the bands individually by color. She throws the tackle box and her loom into her book bag and heads off to summer camp. Definitely recommended!

I just got my shipment in the mail, and I have to say, the quality is pretty good. The bands came within 4 days, so the shipping is very fast and easy. The colors are vibrant and there are 8 packs just as shown. The smell, they smell a little bit different than the original rainbow loom brand, but nothing terrible. Each pack comes with a standard pack of S-clips which I think work better than the original c-clips. The packs have many bands, no skimping out on that part. The bands feel exactly the same as rainbow loom, not like they will break on one loop, and that's good for tight styles such as hexafish. They are also not overly thick or thin. Over all the bands are pretty good quality. They definitely met my expectations. The only part I did not like though is the broken ness. It's not overly terrible though, I have to say, I am being a bit of a snob. There are a few random small pieces of rubber band in each package, but I can only pick out one broken band per pack, which is better than some store bought packs. Also, it comes in a plastic pack which I was expecting a hard plastic container. Great over all

Both of my elementary-aged kids are obsessed with the looming craze--over a year after it hit the ground running. They loom in waves, and this summer was all about the loom. The first place I looked for a restocking of colors was Amazon, and as usual, I was not disappointed. The color selection, the amount of free clips included, the quick shipping, and the price made me purchase two of these sets--one for each little loomer. They hold up in quality to the ones we have purchased in-store. My children were thrilled!

These bands work great for me. I love the colors, and the quality is good, too! Other people have mentioned an odor out of the box, but mine didn't have any weird smells at all. Overall, these bands are great for looming, at a great price. I just wish they had maybe one or two more different colors in the kit, for variety. But that's a minor gripe!

My granddaughter loved the product. She spent Two days making bracelets for her classmates and teacher.

Used these to make some simple fishtail bracelets for the school's marching band. If you consistently wear the bracelet, they tend to crack/shrivel up before snapping. They're okay for someone who may not frequently wear the bracelets made.
