Why did the package say "for indoor use" but that isn't listed anywhere here under product details? I am building a patio table.

Well usually when they say that its not weather proof,but if its use at dry area should be ok,i have so many packing non of them have (indoor only) sign,maybe better contact to Kreg.

Can I use this screws on 3/4 material

No, if using Kreg pocket system. They will go through material. (That is if you are fastening 3/4 to 3/4). Use 11/4” screws.
