Very sharp right to the tip! Light weight, great control. You actually need to be careful when cutting jump stitches so that you don’t cut more than intended. Best scissors I’ve used so far.

These scissors are the best to trimming appliqués , especially on ITH machine embroidery. They are sharp and accurate.

The build quality is awesome, although they feel somewhat flimsy on your hand. A little bit dull on the tip portion, however the tip is so pointy that I don't need the bead cutter anymore.

KAI scissors have an excellent quality, and this pair of scissors was no exception. Without a doubt the best applique scissors I've ever had, well worth the price.

Like the sharp pointed tip as it allow trimming of sharp corners and small areas precisely. And it is sharp.
