The kit goes together well and is very compact. The RC controller is good quality. The code is complete and the instructions step you through setting it up. The Bad: After the work of assembly the payoff should be flying it. This is where the problems start. After trying to trim the flight controls repeatedly, the most we can do with this drone is to make it skate across the floor. If we do hit that sweet spot of actually getting it trimmed out just right, it only lasts for less then a minute and it will try to flip over. The place for the battery is on the underside of the drone frame. Unfortunately there are no stops for the battery when it is slid into the frame. So this can throw off the trim settings every time you remove the battery for recharging. I wasn't expecting a lot from this small drone. I was not disappointed in that expectation. Review: Disappointed - Great concept. And cool to build your own. But flying almost impossible. Got this for science camp activity. Very disappointing for the amount of money. RARELY flew. The instructions are specific and easy to follow. Suggested tweaks for flying errors are successful for about 30 seconds and then problems again.

One Star
Way expensive for a drone of this caliber, propellers are extremely brittle and break with slightest impact.

Fun to build. Canโt get it off the ground. Manual is not very helpful.
