This game may be old but don't let that keep you from playing! Incredible high speed races + best racing music ever made!
The elegance and overall feel of the races in this game are beyond words. Being able to race in supercars like McLaren and Ferrari just makes it that much more exciting! Along with the races and cars, the INCREDIBLE sounds of rock, techno, and musical instruments from around the world just take the gameplay that much further! The compositions of Saki Kaskas, Jeff van Dyck, Angela van Dyck, Rom di Prisco, Crispin Hands, Robert Ridihalgh, Alistair Hirst, and Jay Weinland are probably some of the best works created! Some of the gameplay might be a bit exaggerated especially during collisions between the cars and the surroundings, but that's just a minor issue once you get used to the races. Overall, if you're into high speed races combined with some of the best racing sounds ever made, this game is for you!

Good game, but......
The game tries to add new cars and tracks to the original NFS II. Like the original it only supports IPX lan, and it will not run on an NT system. (Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista). The game adds cars and two tracks, (one bonus) at the cost of stability. For fun gameplay, turn wild mode off and set to arcade or sim.

It is a good beginer game for driving games. but I don't like that their are not enough cars. It isn't as good as NFS4 but it is worth your money and you might like it.
