HUGE Learning Curve if You're Used to Working with Hard Gel
I do my own nails with hard gel and it's very time consuming because every nail must be flash cured for at least 15 seconds after the product is applied. I thought that using this product with dual forms would be faster but it's not. I had to cure each nail as soon as I put the form on. I used WAY too much product every time, but it was the first time I've tried it. I ended up with nails that were way too long and way too thick. Fortunately, you can fix just about any mistake with a lot of filing, and that's what I did. The gel cured with just a small spot or two on a couple nails. I cured each nail for 120 seconds then turned it over and cured it for another 120 seconds. I think if I had not applied it so thinkly it would have cured perfectly. But working with this is VERY different that working with hard gel. If you use acrylic powder with a liquid, you'll probably find this very easy to use. But it took me all day to do my nails. I filed forever and then instead of going back to this product I used my hard gel on top. They don't look bad for a first try and it always was my plan to go over it with my hard gel because I can't replicate that exact shade of red so I have to cover it. This is a nice shade of red, but it's not MY shade of red. But if you use red polish, you know how hard it is to find YOUR red. Some of the forms popped right off, and some of them required more of a fight but they all came off and the nail had a beautiful shine with I needed to file off because the nails were almost 1/4 inch thick. Figuring out how much product to put in the nail dual form will be a learning process. This product was very difficult for me to work with but it's very different than hard gel, which is what I've used for years. I can't say it's easier or that it saves time. I think it's just a matter of what product you like to work with.Every video I have watched has said that hybrid polygels are easier to file that acrylic or hard gel. I can't speak to acrylic because I don't use it but this product is MUCH harder than hard gel. That's totally fine with me. I don't think this is a soak off gel. I think if you want it off you need to file it off. I would file it off regardless because I don't like the idea of soaking my fingers in acetone.I rated it a 3 on longevity because I don't yet know. I just finished it. And if they fall off tomorrow I won't be able to say if it's because of the product or because I didn't use the correct base coat. I LOVE how hard it is and I'll attempt to use it again when it's time for a fill. I'll return to this review in two or three weeks and update you on longevity and anything else that happens. This is the first time in my life I have long nails that don't have my natural fingernails or nail tips under the product.Let's see what happens.

Easy to use! Long lasting results.
I love the quality of this polygel. Itβs super easy to use, and not too firm, which makes it really easy to push with the brush and not a lot of slip. Made doing nails a breeze.

Happy if they do not snap 24h later - plus info no one wants to tell you
The media could not be loaded. Why not 5 stars? Because Millennial Pink, purchased here in 60ml is actually a see through peach-pink colour (I called it 'clear' in my video to simplify the message). 24 hours later and the polygel did not snap yet, the way the other set you see in the video does, I will update my review if will not last 2 weeks at least (my nails need to be done every 2 weeks as they grow very fast due to the Vitamins for hair and nails I used for many, many years - yes, my hair reaches the legs and cut it almost every week). I used:1. The Millennial pink (prior I buffed the nails with the square buffer due to having thin nails breaking even if I open a clementine for example - despite the vitamins I take) then applied to Base gel and cured for 60 seconds to prepare them for the adhesion with the polygel2. I tried using the paper forms underneath the nails and to put the gel on the Plastic nail forms - this did not work due to having different curves. Decided to use, as in the past, only the Plastic nail forms (came with the dreaded Gershion set I purchased 3 years ago and not sold anymore on Amazon USA or UK - probably left too many people upset after the original excellent reviews and now trading under a different name to fool us: is not like the Chinese factory was closed down, surely they still make profits under a new name). The Gershion set had 6 colours in 30ml each: originally the nails would have snapped after one week and blamed myself, now they snap after 24 hours proof that:a. they are eager to blame you for nail snapping when actually is due to the quality of the polygelb. doing my gel nails for many years (tired of using for decades the same greedy un-grateful London nail technician) and polygel for 3 years when I purchased Gershion, is very difficult to achieve perfect nails on the back side (you will have ridges you will have to smooth out yourself, even if you use the Nail Clips which keep your nail in place when trying to cure the polygel). With the help of Plastic Nail forms you will achieve though 'near perfection' on top3. With the polygel on the Nail form secured with the Nail Clips, you remove the excess polygel at the top and spread the polygel at the back with the brush dipped in the solution - everything purchased on Amazon.Interestingly, the Rosalind Millennial pink was a bit more solid than the Gershion (like different types of chewing gum) and for one nail I did not even use Dipping Solution, whereas Gershion was more 'runny' even without the Dipping Solution - now I know, this is equal to a rubbish polygel. My experiment proves that even polygel gets old!!!! If you use polygel only for yourself better buy one tube at a time!!!!Follow these steps and the nails will look nice, yet not achieving perfection at the back of the nails. If you can achieve that, lucky you!!!!Update: yes, they lasted just over 2 weeks, so yes, Rosalind is great at this moment in time - although, you never know with the Made in China items, they always modify the originals and never tell the customer, hence many items getting negative reviews after a few years. Whether is polygel or furniture etc
