Hi quality, low price
Love this player. It’s solid, doesn’t skip and sounds great. I’ve tried others and this tops them all. Very impressed!

Bluetooth a bit inconsistent
Works well and headphones sound great but bluetooth connection does not always work. Sometimes will just not pair.

Very glad I found the OAKCASTLE CD player for my car's Android CarPlay head unit.
I bought the portable CD player for an aftermarket Pioneer head unit that doesn't have a CD player. The unit works as it should, has a nice look and feel, and sounds good when connected via a 3.5 mm jack or Bluetooth. Bluetooth connectivity however only works with the Pioneer head unit when my phone's Bluetooth is switched off. So I use the 3.5 mm jack for the CD player when connecting my phone concurrently through Android for on-screen navigation.Customer Support was responsive when I had a post purchase query on the headphone control which is a wired remote control that's helpful while driving a vehicle. A remote control that mimics all basic function buttons on the CD player will make the unit more driver friendly. This was a great purchase at this price point. The 3 year warranty is a bonus although it isn't clear what is covered.

Small, portable and easy to operate CD Player for bedside or car use.
The AUX cable as well as a Blue Tooth cordless connection capability gives this compact portable CD player the versatility to be used outside with a portable speaker, connected to car & TV audio systems or even for bedside listening to a good mystery book. Blue Tooth connects quickly to a portable speaker. The voice levels and book reader's voice quality is excellent. I handled it and bumped it in several different ways and the CD player did not skip tracks. Even though it is a compact device the controls are accessible and clearly identified. The CD player works as described however after using the CD player for playing books on several CD's an audio problem occurred with finishing the last page as recorded on the CD. This may be a problem with how much is recorded on the CD as opposed to the capabilities of the player.

The Real Warranty Isn't Included
Like many others with 1-star review issues... the player suddenly stopped reading discs. I bought this for a oldest daughter, she used it a few times and it stopped reading discs. Contacted the manufacturer and after going back and forth with (sometimes ridiculous) troubleshooting steps, we were told to contact Amazon for a full refund. We registered the 3-year warranty included in the box, so I assumed this was acceptable, a full refund is better than being stuck with a defective product. After months going back and forth between Amazon and the manufacturer, my literal only option for resolving this issue is to return it to Amazon but with a Restocking Fee. I get it, Amazon needs to be compensated for processing the return of the product and it's not their fault it's defective... but the manufacturer offers absolutely no way to repair, replace, or refund the defective product. They also refuse to refund me for the restocking fee. In fact, they tell me it's up to the seller who, get this, pretends to be the manufacturer. As for one of the troubleshooting steps... they want you to turn on the player and drain the battery completely and recharge. This took FOREVER as the CD Player will turn off after 60 seconds if not playing anything. And it won't play anything if it ---get this--- doesn't read discs. Oakcastle or Majority or whoever it is who sells these products has lost a customer, and anyone else I can warn about this product. To be clear, the CD Player suffered no damage or misuse in it's short time with us. It just stopped reading discs randomly and never read them again.Again, I appreciate Amazon for allowing me to return this even if there is a restocking fee because my only other option is to cut my losses. $40 is a lot for a product that is quite literally built to fail with no real support.

CD players are not obsolete
This player charges rapidly and always works. Now that cars do not have disc players anymore this is essential as it will connect with the bluetooth easily; no need to transfer all your music to a usb drive.

I could be happier.
I have not had this long, so it may be premature to review it now, but: The anti skip does not seem to work very well at all. The sound quality is average, but I was hoping for better considering the price I paid. The instructions that came with it were far from adequate, and there are still some things I have not figured out yet. I do not like the fact that to register it for the warranty I must scan a little code thing of some sort. I do not have a scanner for that sort of thing, and I don't really want one. Truly, the biggest problem I have with this is that the manufacturer seems to think that everyone who buys one is a computer whiz. I can assure you, I am not. I suppose this is alright so far as cd players go, but I feel like I did not need to spend so much money to get what I got.
