Q: Anyone know if this device works with the Spectre X360?

I just received my HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15t-eb000 and was quite disappointed when I tried pairing it with an HP USB-C Dock G5. Although some of the dock's ports worked, I was unable to successfully connect to a secondary display via an HDMI cable. I have a decent amount desktop support experience, so I tried to troubleshoot the issue. Updates to drives/firmware, different HDMI cables, a different display device, etc. all proved unsuccessful. Still researching 2xDisplayPort docking station options. If I can't find anything reasonably priced, I may end up returning the laptop. :(

Don't waste your money. This dock doesn't work well with any laptop.

Q: Can you just buy the power supply? I’ve misplaced mine

1 - Look closely at the power supply and find the part and model number. Some HP products also have a "Replace with HP Spare" part number and a "Lite-on" part number. 2 - type one of these part / model numbers into the search bar at Amazon. 3 - I bet you will find it for sale.
