Wow. Had to replace my speakers and did so with jbl to match the rest of my components. After 1 month they were shot. And I did ensure the wattage was sufficient. Still they got blown. Yes I like my music loud in the car, and at home and everywhere. But not just loud, needs to be quality. These speakers blow me away. Amazing crisp fidelity with great bass. They crank so loud that my volume is sufficient in the middle. Of course when the windows and sunroof are open I do crank to max and they do not lose quality at the higher level. When playing it low, especially when the wife is in the car😀 I hear full harmonic range and nice bass. Couldn’t be happier.

I’ve got 3 sets so far But hopefully come across another sett before I finish overhauling my trucks stereo. I’ve been into car audio for 20 years I just had a job installing it I used to sell it you should see the garage I got speakers and amps and cardio stuff everywhere And these things are my new faves. I got them bridge together so two speakers are on 1 channel at a 2 ohm load. The bass the highs it’s all there. Trying to put different types of speakers in the system Had some $280 set of infinity components that are very low level sounded clear and I thought I didn’t like this until I cranked it up and bye bye infinity. I can’t find anything that cranks like these

Well made, connected to Edge EDX800.4FD amp (4x310W RMS), clear midrange at high volume, crisp sound.I had 4x Edge 6x9 and 2 blew within a week. They can only handle 100W RMS each. My amp is rated at 4x310W RMS at 4Ohms and the earthquake 6x9 speaker can handle 200W RMS at amps flat setting.
