Really good green tea. Has just the right amount of flavor!

I am absolutely thrilled with the Gyokuro Isshin! The flavor profile has a wonderful umami, reminiscent of fresh seaweed, with a lingering subtle sweetness that is truly a genuine pleasure. It's a very nice tea for quiet moments of reflection, or to just take a moment away from a busy day. The care and craftsmanship in this tea is apparent, and not just in the wonderful flavor, but also in the thoughtful packaging. Senbird put a great deal of care in their tea tins, and it really shows. I look forward to savoring every cup and can't recommend it enough to anyone looking for a truly premium tea experience.

This is a delicate and very refreshing tea. It comes with instructions that clearly explain how to properly make the tea. This is my treat on cold and rainy days or any time my spirits need a lift. Comfort and gentle energy in a cup.

As a tea lover, I prefer loose leaf tea and gyokuro is one of my absolute favorites. This particular tea, from Sendbird, is lighter bodied than some other gyokuro's I've had in the past (from other company's that have a much more grassiness, which I tend to gravitate toward), but it's still very enjoyable and has a smooth quality, with no bitterness....very difficult to over brew this one. It's one I'd definitely order again to keep in the pantry along side the more robust teas.

This is the third gyokuro I have tried in a week (we are tasting different brands and cultivars). And it is clearly the best one. First steep was creamy and sweet, second steep, I felt like I was drinking beautiful green dew. I think I had about 4 steeps and each one was great. Now I know why gyokuro is considered to be such a great tea. I love the tea tin --it is such a nice touch and much appreciated. I can't wait to try senbird's other teas. They clearly know what they are doing in the tea business.

If you are into matcha like we are, you’ll love this. We have one to two cups per day, two to four total between us. This is enough to last us about two months. Make sure to store the canister in the refrigerator. I grew up on matcha as a young kid living in Japan. Matcha helps get me going in the morning without the inevitable crash that comes with drinking coffee or energy drinks. In addition, it also helps with focus and concentration.

Pure trash, not worth it

If you need a reason to try out this tea, look no further. I had received my tea can during the evening time, and I was so excited to try it out that I had made 2 cups before I went to bed around 10pm. I ended up staying awake until almost 6am the next morning and I had to be up for work in about an hour.I had always been looking for a replacement for coffee since it doesn’t sit well with my stomach and I’m really glad that I had found this brand of tea. I had tried out maeda-en’s gyokuro tea, but it didn’t give me nearly the same amount of caffeine, green tea flavor, and color vibrancy as this brand of tea does. Also, the can is reusable if you decide to buy more tea leaves!I highly recommend this product 👍🏽
