Loctite Power Grab Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive is a latex, water-based adhesive, however, this product is not designed for overhead installations without a mechanical support system and therefore would not be recommended for ceiling tile applications. **Q: Can this product be used on outside porch to hold foam ceiling panels?** A: Will hold all sorts of stuff. It is a great multi adhesive. **Q: Did yours come with a cap? Seems like the cost-cutting is getting riddiculous...** A: No caps not sure what cost cutting is I am guessing you mean they plug up and can’t use at a later date. When I use some and have some in tube I screw a red wire nut on it release the caulking gun pressure too. If it plugged tight I use a 3 inch construction screw or Phillips screwdriver to push down in to get it flowing. Seldom waste much. I have bought dozens for construction hone use. I am diy not a pro. It’s a great product we have come along way I n the adhesives from just liquid nails. Etc... you might try to simply leave a screw in the tip to block air. Again a block tip can be cleared by reopening with a screwdriver or long screw.
