Must haves for kitchen
Originally I was skeptical that these would just make a mess in my freezer but I was pleasantly surprised. The seal held very well. They were easy to use and take out of the mold. Kept the ice in the right shape. Size is perfect for the standard glass. Very durable. It has practical use and effectively serves its intended purpose.

Liking them!
Love them but a little hard to get the frozen ball out of the mold.

Cool Stuff (pun intended)
Ice BallsThe reviews appear bipolar. Some love them, some hate them. Not many in the middle. The haters say they leak, they’re hard to open or the lids fall off causing a big mess in the freezer (Blowout)On the issue of blowout:1. Dry silicone can be non-skid. Sticky is bad for assembly. A quick rinse before assembly solves the problem.2. Each half has three reinforcement ribs. Line the ribs up with each other to reinforce the entire circumference. Out of line ribs create an uneven torque on the shell creating gaps which WILL leak.3. Allow "head space" when filling. Each shell holds 4 oz. Start with 3 oz. and experiment from there.4. Water expands when freezing. The head space allows for initial expansion without blowing the halves apart until after the seam is frozen over and sealed.5. Place in a shallow freezer proof pan just in case. That way you can avoid iceberg formation (a Titanic mistake) inside your freezer if things don’t go right. On the issue of hard to open:1. Depending on your freezer temperature, 10 to 15 minutes in the refrigerator will warm the shell enough to soften the silicone without melting the ice.2. Roll the shell between your palms as if you’re peeling garlic. This will wiggle the shell loose from the ball.3. Once undone, grab your balls, stuff them in a Ziplock and toss them back in the freezer. Please remember to wash your hands before touching your balls. Some bacteria (including Salmonella) can easily survive freezing. The horror stories of improperly maintained hotel / restaurant ice machines are all the proof you need 🤮

A Bit of a Challenge
First, it makes large round ice "balls" just as advertised....But a couple of thoughts....They are difficult to fill. If the manufacturer/distributor would include a small funnel it would be much easier....Once frozen they are hard to get apart so you can retrieved your chunk of ice. Running hot water over them helps, but even with that you have to overcome a fair amount of suction in order to get the halves of the thing apart.Generally usable, but with a little more engineering it would be a better product.

Would buy again and have.
Use these all the time, perfect for small drinks. Just remember to not fill them with water to the tippy top. Bought some for a friend as well.

Good, just wish it was easier to remove off of ice
This works well and does what is intended. However it would be nice if the cover came off the ice a bit easier. You almost have to peel it off the ice.
