Thin but good value
These are much thinner and not quite as strong as I was hoping but good value for the money and I love the the colour!

Good quality but pricey
Colour was bright and the adhesion was good. These should be cheaper though.

Sturdy, Opaque, Smooth, and Calligraphy Ink does not Smudge
I purchased these envelopes for a holiday envelope exchange hosted by The Calligraphy Podcast and was looking for good-quality envelopes that were affordable on a college-student budget, could be used for multiple occasions and not just the holidays, were self-adhesive, and did not smudge dip pen calligraphy ink. These envelopes exceeded my expectations and I received many compliments on the envelopes. As a reference, none of the envelopes arrived without adhesive, folded, or broken. They were wrapped in a thin plastic wrap and came within a manilla folder two-three days after ordering them. I was able to write on them with both a Hunt EF and Hunt 101 Imperial nibs using Dr. Ph Martin's Copplerplate Gold and Bleedproof White inks. If you know anything about calligraphy nibs, the Hunt EF is a large, sturdy, low-flow nib that is excellent for writing on materials with a lot of texture. The Hunt 101, however, is a small, flexible nib that requires a lot of precision, achieves small hairlines, and tends to catch on paper fibers so it is only recommended for use on smooth paper. None of the nibs caught on the paper fibers and I was able to successfully achieve fine hairlines. The envelopes are not see-through, and I even decorated them with DIY envelope liners. The self-adhesive seals very tightly, so the envelopes are unlikely to open in the mail. Overall, if I could rate these envelopes higher than a 5, I definitely would!

Huge wrinkles on over half of my envelopes!
Super disappointed in these. Over half of the envelopes had these major crinkles in them. These were Birthday invitation envelopes so I ended up not using the majority of them. Such a waste! They were wrapped in tight plastic so I don't think it was a shipping issue. The manufacturer just didn't do quantity control, I guess.
