I needed a vise grip so I went to Amazon instead of paying a large price at the box stores. I found a set of 3 for the same price as a single tool at the store. I purchased them expecting them to be a lesser quality. They’re heavy built and easy to use. I’m very happy these tools.

You get what you pay for. They hold up for most normal jobs. Tightening, loosening, etc. Anything that requires some serious torque, however, should be avoided as the tool itself may start bending. (By serious torque, I mean by hand, not with a cheat bar or any power tools) The locking works great too, but again, ensure you aren't setting the lock too tight as the material won't handle severe pressure/torque. It's a good cheap set to have for piping and other jobs that won't require a ton of torque input. I recommend them, but understand that they aren't top quality. Use for normal/easy jobs and projects.

Just what husband wanted

It’s not bad, the handles are ok but because it’s not rubber it can get as slippery as just holding the metal itself.. it seems sturdy enough and I haven’t had any problems yet. I do wish they’d come together more instead of only connecting at the tip like pliers. Depending on what job you’re doing you may need that extra contact. But for now it’s fine.. still slippery like the last pair I bought but the handle helps a little.. I don’t hate it, wished it also had color choices I would’ve preferred..
