Yes, if your ground is level and you can get down on your knees. We got ours real close.

The saw length depends on the planned log diameter(s). This saw can handle up to roughly 36" diameter logs allowing for a max 12" of stroke.

It does not come with a sheath or blade cover

I believe it is made in the US but one of the handles broke the first time we used it. Could be the user since we were trying to teach youth how to use them.
