I LOVE these shorts! Extremely comfortable, stretchy fabric... Fit me perfectly. I normally wear denim shorts, have forever, but these have made me re-think my wardrobe! Since denim shorts have become so expensive, the little thrifty lady who lives in my mind loves the price & convinced me try them.. I originally bought these for cleaning, yard work, etc where I might stain up my denim shorts, but after wearing these, I've decided to buy many pairs for everyday shorts! They'd actually be fine for running errands, too! They're sharp looking shorts! The thick waistband, sits right at my waist, not necessarily in style, but I love it! I'm an older lady & still like my shorts/jeans, etc to sit at my waistline. I rarely tuck my shirts in anymore, but a tucked in shirt would look nice with the thick waistband. No puckering around the elastic give these shorts a nice look, no need to hide it. Long story short, I love these and will buy lots more and will wear them almost daily!! Lots of colors available, too! The picture of the model shows the shorts to fit right at the knee, but they're shorter than that on me. I'm long legged & they fit just right, at mid-thigh. The inseam length is 7", perfect for us "mature" ladies... (To help you with sizing... I'm 5'7" tall & I'm a bit over weight, weighing in at 200. I'm carrying most of my extra pounds in my waist and butt. UGH! Can't believe I'm saying all this, lol, but hate it when reviews don't tell you what you need to know, so I'll be honest... I bought mine in 1X and they fit me PERFECTLY!! Just buy according to the size chart, or your normal size & you'll be fine! The material is very stretchy & forgiving) Hope this review helps you make your choice. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with these shorts! Go ahead & buy them! Treat yourself to several!

I ordered my usual size, XL, but they were a bit snug around the waist (fine when I stand up, but dig in when I sit down). Ordered another pair in 2XL and these are much comfier. An inner drawstring would be useful to allow for weight gain/loss/bloating. The cotton material is soft and a decent thickness, not see-through. The shorts are a nice length too, especially if you’re past the age of booty shorts like me! They sit an inch or so above my knees. Hopefully they will wash well and I’ll enjoy wearing them. I think they’ll go with anything, from pretty tops to vests.

I have been wearing these shorts for over 10 years. They are so well made, comfortable, more than reasonably priced, and they last and last and last. Quality is 100%. Now, I don't know what happened, but I have been ordering these shorts in a size 3X. There was a note on the listing from Amazon that said my recommended size for these shorts was a 3X, so I ordered the 3X. My gosh, 2 people could have fit into these shorts they were so big! I returned them and reordered them in a 2X and hope they fit. I don't know if Hanes has changed their size chart or if these were just a fluke but still, since I love them so much, I think they are worth a 5* reviews.

These shorts are comfortable and fit and length are great. I have 4 Heather gray because they are cotton/ polyester blend and wash without shrinkage. The black and navy are 100% cotton and they do have shrinkage after washing. You might want to size up on those two colors.

Don't normally leave reviews BUT these are a must ! I'm not a shorts kind of girl, as I've never liked getting my legs out , but turning 40 made me reconsider. I am 5" 8 and normally a size 14 / 16 pending where I get clothing from - These shorts are a perfect fit ( I ordered the 1X) very very comfortable for thos ladies who have generious hips and thighs. The length is perfect and the material is really really good quality. I love them ! I have the black pair and yesterday I ordered the navy 😊 Would highly recommend 👌

Quality of material was very poor compared to the price...

I've purchased this short in 3 colours in the 3X size. I can fit in the 2X, but it's not that flattering. Not the short's fault that my stomach dropped. Thank you aging, who knew?! Because of the fit I didn't purchase the lighter grey colour for my issue would become apparent. These look nice with a longer length T-shirt or top. I'd been wearing another brand of elastic waist short for years. It doesn't owe me anything after 20 years of wear and tear. These shorts are an excellent replacement. Pockets are a must have in any bottom that I wear as well.
