Bought a new car and decided no antenna holes in the roof. Also it's an SUV so no trunk lid to clip an antenna to. So I decided to give this mount a try. Very happy!! Very strong magnet and it even came with a little rubber boot to put on the magnet to protect the paint on the roof of the car. Very happy, does just what I wanted. I'm able to use my radio when in the car and when I'm not driving the antenna is off and the car looks normal with no scratches on the roof!! Good buy !!!
