The Old Farmer's Almanac Tree & Shrub Fertilizer Spikes (Box of 6 Spikes - 1.5 Lbs)

These work great in AZ for shrubs and trees. I put these in the ground right before summer started and I have seen a big improvement in growth in the trees I added it too. I also use these on some vines and it worked great. Easy to hammer into the ground.

Trees are doing fine

I didn't notice any meaningful change in my Chinese Pistache. However, my Italian Cypress tripled in size and stays a dark green. It had previously been significantly damaged by a Border Collie trying her paw at tree trimming. It's no longer a uniform shape, but it's thriving after only using one spike.

These spikes are quite large and will not break, even if hit with a hammer with the intension of breaking them into smaller pieces. So only for larger applications. The the quality seems very good.

Not sure how they work because I have two dogs that will not stop digging them up and eating them. Not sure exactly what’s in these but I’ve never had this issue with any other fertilizer sticks.

My trees are so full! Buying this again for myself and for a friend because this truly works and has made a difference. I saw someone say they found pieces of it a year later lol maybe she doesn’t water her trees often and well enough ?? Cause that doesn’t make any sense. User error for sure. This isn’t a paid review btw, this is my honest review and response to the negative one. This one is the best! And a more natural approach, which is important to me.
