Rav Avigdor Miller August 29 1908 - April 20 2001 was so much a part of this world yet so distant from it. His innovations in teaching Torah through tapes and telephone and technology were twenty years ahead of his time yet his personal lifestyle resembled that of generations past. He declared his unwavering emunah with his every word imparted the language of the Chovos Halevavos in his every nuance and incorporated the words of Tanach into his very vernacular. He was the eloquent spokesman who inspired hundreds and thousands of souls many of whom never even picked up a Chumash before hearing him to return to Yiddishkeit. Rav Miller was a tzaddik who slept for sixty years on a sheet-covered board and ate a raw egg and half a sugar cube for supper. The Satmar Rav said of Rav Miller that he is not from this dor generation but rather from a previous generation. And yet his message continues to reverberate for future generations long after his passing.Features. Artist - Binyomin Allen. Printing - Giclee 120 years. Size - 18 x 24 in.
