Quality
Great starter. I did six months of starting in two days. Had water in two of four cylinders. Took between 5 and 30 mins to get the motor started. This starter did work. Cooled off a few times with bottled water. Top notch quality. Cranked for way longer than I would expect from an Amazon product. 5+ stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So far, so good
I've seen and heard some bad reviews on this starter, but for me, easy install, been out for two days started every time no issues. I'll give it more runs and I'll get update.

the bendix on the starter sticks in the down position after a few start try's.
It's almost as though there is a washer or spacer missing on assembly that should have been in place for slippage when not being engaged.? Since there is no way to contact the seller, I cannot check on it.Also 2 of the mounting bolt holes had to be slightly enlarged to mount the starter.I'm not going to waste my time sending it back unless the seller wants to ship me another one that works properly, then I will return the defective one. Until then, I'll just use this one and hope the bendix works the sticking out. (btw, I also oiled and greased the bendix, but it didn't help)Update....As of August 1 this starter is junk and won't work. It only hums and starts to smoke, now. After taking the starter apart, I discovered that one of the four magnets on the inside of the casing was broken causing the starter to malfunction.
