I have found these to be excellent, I noticed no side effects. I take 1 ever 4-6 hours for IC, they provide satisfactory pain control and I have not had a UTI since starting these.

Is there a limit to the number of consecutive days I can take this?

According to the directions, you should only use this 3 days. If your problem is still occuring, it's time to call the doctor. My UTIs usually start on a Friday night, with no access to my doctor. I take AZO, I'm fine by Monday.

Can i buy this from a drug store?

I think so, I have seen it for sale at Walmart.

Will this affect the AZO test strip results if i take this then use it?

I don't know...I would think that taking this BEFORE you test may lead to false negatives but again ask the pharmacist

Life Saver

This product is a life saver. I'm no doctor but I can usually tell when I'm about to get a UTI and if I can catch it fast enough, I take this for 3 or 4 days as directed and the pain and discomfort is gone. Starts acting quickly too. Just know it makes your pee look hi-lighter yellow!

Extremely effective, for me, at least

I started take this while traveling to combat a UTI until I could get to our destination and find an urgent care. Turns out that this was so effective that my symptoms all but disappeared. The UC doctor was ineffective, so I kept taking this and drank a LOT to flush everything out. Eventually, the UTI symptoms were gone, I just had to deal with blood in the urine, which, too, ceased. By the time I got to my regular doctor, was "UTI free". Like any medication, take at your own risk.One thing to note is it contains aspirin for the pain relief factor. Aspirin is a blood thinner so if you are already taking a blood thinner, you must adjust your dosage. I had a bug bite that I scratched and it bleed like I had struck an artery. Also, do not give to children because of the risk of Reyes Syndrome.
