I bought this for my wife as a gift. It made her cry because she said it was too special for her writings.I can’t speak to how it holds ink, but it is a beautiful journal. The cover is very soft and thick leather. The pages are thick and durable, but also soft. It’s well constructed with a good weight to it. Overall a great value with a ton of pages.This thing looks super cool. People will ask about it, want to open it, and be jealous that they don’t have one.

Perfect size.Just perfect I did not have any issues writing in it. It did not have an odor. Pages were lined and had a good feel to them. Love yhe leather and the over all look.

I’d liked the cover but the paper a little too dark to see what I’m writing down I found that’s the biggest letdown. I should’ve got the one with the lines. That’s my fault but the color yellow for pages like it’s aged doesn’t work really well for me.

Happy with the look of this journal. I bought it for my granddaughter to log our time together from when she was born to hopefully her 18th bday! Material is quality and the product is well represented as it was advertised. I would recommend this product for sure.
