This worked to replace one of the fans on my XPS 15 which was making this annoying buzzing sound. The original fan in my laptop had the code 'FJ9J' while this one from Amazon had 'FK7J' instead. Still, it fit perfectly and is running. No buzzing noise too! Very happy with the purchase.

Dell laptop was running but making lots of noise. Had to be the fans so opened it up and sure enough fans were plugged up with dust and dirt. Could have blown them clean but no guarantee the noise would stop so after looking at alternaselected this product. Arrived quickly and were simple to install. They fit perfectly and now my laptop runs ever so quiet! Really happy with these new fans.

My Dell Precision Mobile 5530 has been making a horrible racket for a while now. It's still more than powerful enough, but that noise was making it very unpleasant to use. I finally decided to try replacing the fans - well really just the CPU fan, but this come as a set for CPU and GPU, so I replaced both. The noise level is now back to what it was when I bought the laptop. It's essentially silent at idle and bearable under load. I'm elated with this fix, especially for the very reasonable price!

After replacing this there was a clicking noise coming from the fan when I moved my laptop around. It would come from only one fan (right) and found it was due to the fans hitting the fan casing when moved around. My hypothesis is that the fan is loose so when the laptop is moved, it gives makes it seesaw/tilt.

I bought a used dell xps 7590, which worked great except for the bearing being shot on one of the fans. I bought this and replaced them both, and I was pleasantly surprised by the noise level. They are quieter than the stock fans, (measuring before the bearing was shot), and the cooling performance is decent. Shipping was fast, saving my new purchase.

Junk - "might" look like the OEM fans in a Dell 5540 - but they ain't - NOT by a Looooooong shot. One fall essentially fell apart post install (plastic tabs keep it together - tabs must have been defective post assembly - NO QA obviously) - still spun - so I thought - what the heck - I'll give a shot. Spun - but I'm sure it wasn't cooling as designed. Turned out to be a mute point - the Left Fan - decided to squeal on the third turn on - enough was enough to declare these fans poorly assembled & obviously ZERO Q&A post assembly. Avoid - not worth the aggravation.
