Tastes like Vanilla icing, consistency a little watery, doesn't foam, no minty flavor at all
I bought this one and the chocolate one. The chocolate one has a more in-depth review from me but I am short on time today, but I want to spread the word about this awesome toothpaste. It tastes like vanilla icing to me and my little one says it tastes like vanilla yogurt. I think the flavor is vanilla but everyone's taste buds and preferences are different. We have a sweet tooth in this family but if you don't then don't buy it. I don't understand why some are buying "icecream flavored toothpaste" and then complaining that it tastes too sweet or they feeling like they are brushing with icing. I don't see how it is the creator's fault that it tastes like it is advertised. I am so grateful that they created this it makes getting my kids to brush their teeth more of a reminder rather than a struggle. No, it isn't magic they aren't going to want magically to be waiting until the moment that they have to brush their teeth but they don't complain about it anymore. That is all I was asking so I am so happy with this toothpaste. I wish they made a mouth wash. The consistency is NOT grainy, I have had no problem with any of them being expired, and some complain about it not foaming but I would do research on that because I heard chemicals are what make it foamy and the information said you actually don't need it to be foamy to get you teeth clean. If you don't like sweets don't get this because it is sweet, not painfully sweet as some claim, I do agree you get a weird feeling like you are brushing your teeth with icing. Again I like this and so do my children because it tastes great! I am an adult and I felt like I wanted to swallow it because it was so good and I had to keep reminding myself that it was toothpaste. However, if you have been searching high and low for a toothpaste that tastes like vanilla and chocolate then you will be so happy you got this. I took a chance and I was glad I did.

Great taste, safe for children.
Happy with product and third purchase. This is a great option for your kids that think the traditional tooth paste is too “spicy”:

A Shakespearean Work of Art That Is VANILLA BLING TOOTHPASTE.
May I say, this toothpaste is a Shakespearean level work of art. Before using this toothpaste, I used to hate to brush my teeth due to the minty burn in my mouth. I used to say I brushed my teeth so I didn’t have to physically go through the pain suffering that is minty hell. One day, I was sitting in the dentist office talking about toothpaste flavors and I said how I hated mint. She recommended me get some bubble gum toothpaste from the CVS next door. The hygienist who was a couple feet away from me on the computer talked about this toothpaste. I said, “Oh, it probably doesn’t taste that good since it’s not real.” She looks at me with wide eyes and says, “You know the difference between good and bad frosting?” I nodded and she exclaimed to me, “This tastes like the good buttercream frosting.” I said, “Aw, wish I could taste that.” She then proceeds to pull out the tube of toothpaste from her purse. My hygienist looks at her and asks, “Why is that in your purse and what else is in that purse?” We all laughed and she says, “I don’t know? Emergencies? I don’t even know what’s in my purse.” She then takes 3 pieces on gauze and puts a small bit on each. She hands them to me, my mom, and my hygienist.Words cannot describe when I put that piece of gauze in my mouth. It was a magical moment that only some fan fictions can pull off. In as little words as possible, it was like a ratatouille moment when the rat puts the food in his mouth. It was like an angel kissed that bottle of toothpaste. I asked if this was a prank and if this was icing. She laughed and said, “Nope, it’s toothpaste.” I met eyes with my mother, and said, “FIND THAT ON AMAZON.” We found it on Amazon and ordered it 1 day later.I now proudly say that I brush my teeth not once, not twice, but three times everyday. My camp friends asked why I was obsessed with the toothpaste and I put some on their finger. I said, “See for yourself.” I think they had the same moment that I had because their faces enlightened on impact. This toothpaste is a magical work of art. To the creators, you magical dental wizards, you’ve got a new customer and I’m totally coming back for more every time I run out. Keep up the amazing work.If you’re reading this, I don’t have any more words for you but GET THIS TOOTHPASTE. ITS BLISS TO YOUR MOUTH.

Great for adults, too
I work with someone who has a sensory processing issue, and he finds brushing with normal toothpaste to be painful. He’s in his 20s.For whatever reason, he does not mind brushing his teeth with this toothpaste. He says it doesn’t hurt his teeth as badly. I think the flavor, which he loves, might be distracting him from the discomfort. For one reason or another, it works at getting someone with previously poor dental hygiene to brush his teeth regularly.Update: I’ve only recently realized I’m likely on the spectrum, and have found that by replacing my Colgate with this stuff, I am far more likely to brush my teeth often. I get the fluoride free stuff, and because you don’t HAVE to rinse it out of your mouth because the ingredients aren’t harmful, I often don’t rinse it. This matters because I have a major sensory issue with getting my hands wet as one does when rinsing toothpaste out of one’s mouth, and I can never and will never remember to keep a clean cup in the bathroom for this purpose.

Great alternative to mint flavoring.
This is marketed to kids, but as a senior who has developed a sensitivity to mint flavoring, I was having difficulty finding any adult toothpastes that did not use mint. My 10 year old granddaughter was using this one, and I tried it. What a relief...a good tasting toothpaste that didn't hurt my tongue! My only issue with it is that something in it creates a yucky grey residue in my electric toothbrush unless I take it apart and and clean it out regularly. Other than that, I love it, and recommend it to anyone who is sensitive to mint flavoring.
