Very nice box! I wish it was a bit deeper (I should have measured more carefully). I use it to store keepsake cards and letters. Some of the cards are too big to stand up on their side with the other cards.

Well made storage box but not necessarily for the storage of chess pieces. There is no divider to separate the two separate colors. Bagged, there is room for four sets of chess pieces. Very useful.

This is a very nice wooden box. It can be a decorative piece, while functional for storing small items. The latch does not lock with a key, but it does latch tight and securely. I purchased this box to store a few hand towels that I use as shaving towels. It's working out great for my needs.

The clasp is difficult to open and close. The box itself is nicely constructed but the tone of the stain was a bit darker than what we anticipated. I do plan to return it but the only reason is because of the color.

Beautiful high quality solid wooden large memory box for keepsakes. I was impressed with the storage capacity being exactly as described. I purchased it as a gift for a good friend, but kept it for myself and ordered another one for my friend! The lid closure is attractive and very functional. I was impressed with the value for the price and plan to order again for gifts.
