Works great!
We tested this product on a variety of fabrics and even card board. We then used a torch to try to set them on fire. (We had matching pieces that were not sprayed.) The sprayed samples did not catch fire! Some darkened , some scorched, some melted. But none of them caught fire and all had significantly less damage than the non sprayed samples. Leaves a bit of a film.Recommend you use a mask when spraying and don't use on items you will wear or covered by.

Easy to apply, but has a strong odor
Easy to apply, but definitely needs good circulation. The odor is a little overpowering.

Fire Hot !!
Effective Flame Retardancy: ForceField’s FireGuard is designed to provide a protective barrier against fire and reduce the speed at which flames spread. For those seeking a flame retardant for various materials, it gets the job done.Versatility: Suitable for a range of materials, from fabrics to wood, making it a versatile solution for many flame-proofing needs.Ease of Application: The product is straightforward to apply, usually requiring just a simple spray-on method.Safety: Up to my last update, FireGuard was touted as a non-toxic solution, which is an advantage for those concerned about introducing harmful chemicals into their living or working spaces.Cons:Residue: Some users might notice a slight residue or change in the texture of the material after application. This could affect the aesthetics or feel of certain items, especially delicate fabrics

Great product
I used this on a set of PU leather lower leg fairings on my Harley. I’ve not experienced any problems due to heat. Great product. It is tacky, so use gloves when applying and wiping.

Works well, doesn't leave behind mars or residue on the fabric. Hopefully it passes inspection!

Created a sulfur smell
I used this on a small 3'x5' rug I have in front of my fireplace. The rug was new from Lowes. When I sprayed down the rug it started to produce a sulfur odor, which was strong enough to cover the house. I ended up putting the rug in the garage due to the odor. After several days with the smell not dissipating, I put the rug out in direct sunlight for two days, hoping that would speed the process and it worked. The majority of the off-gassing was finished after the two days and I was able to bring the rug back inside. There was slight odor that took another 1-2 weeks to fully stop.
