I bought this for my smaller PT-D210 laber because at the time this case was cheaper (than the Khanka case designed specifically for that labeler) and based on the fact this case had dedicated space for AC adapter, w/ a zipper compartment on top lid (PT-D210 case did not). The zipper seems to work adequately and for my application the PT-D210 fits with enough space for additional label cartridges along the top and side. I cannot speak to how it fits for the PT-D400 but for my application its performs perfectly! I would recommend!

Bought this for the brother pt-d210 bc it was bigger and had more room than other cases made for it. Case feels very sturdy and I like that it fits the ac adapter as well as multiple label tapes and scissors. It does have wiggle room but it does the job with protecting the device and has plenty of space for accessories

I read several reviews and took a chance on this case. I'm trying to get my art area more streamlined and reviewers said they were able to store their printer, cord, and tape cartridges in it. They were right! I was easily able to store 8 cartridges, along with the printer and cord, and zip it shut, no struggles. I love that it's so sturdy, too. Very, very happy with this purchase! (I opened the zipper but you can't really see the refills, but there are 3 on the bottom and 2 on the top. And there was no strain whatsoever.)

I often carry my P-touch label maker to other people's houses to help with home organization, and I needed a way to do this without damaging my label maker. This case is a good way to carry not only the label maker, but extra supplies, as well. I don't own an AC power adapter, so I use the space next to the label maker for 2 replacement cartridges. In the zippered pocket, I carry another replacement cartridge and a small pair of scissors with a sheath (so they don't poke through the mesh). The case feels sturdy and well made. The zippers glide very easily and feel especially well-made.
