Beautiful colored leather
The consumers' remarks on the site led me to believe that these jackets are small and advised the reader to order one size up. I am usually a M so I orgered a L. I'm 5'11" and weigh 165 lbs. I found the L to be a correct L size by US measurements, which means it's a tad big for me, as the fit of a flight jacket should normally be snug. That aside, though, it's a beautiful jacket in terms of color and design. The collar even has snaps to hold it upright if you wish, which I think makes it look better. True, there are no side pockets and the zipper is a left-handed pull, but generally I am very satisfied with the appearance. The distressing of the leather is low-keyed and tasteful, but not overdone.

Nasty odor, weird sizing, not as pictured
I got the Black. Photos show a Distressed style jacket (antique look). But this was not that at all.Not the greatest leather, but wasn't expecting that at this price point. The cuffs, zippers, snaps, all acceptable for the price. Seem sturdy. The sizing. I'm 6', 195#. 44" chest, 36" waist. Athletic build (not body builder nor beer gut). Got the L which seemed like a risk as comments say they run small. What I got is baggy in the body, short, tight fitting arms. Its like the pieces were from different size jackets.I actually like the arms, as I like garments fitted, and arms long enough for me (just barely). But I have short arms. Most of the time garments arms fit long on me. So I gotta imagine this jackets arms would be too short for most. The body is quite loose. I could easily fit a bulky sweater underneath, with room to spare. I was hoping for something more fitted. Size chart says I should be in XL or 2XL. So I ordered the L thinking that would be the fitted sizing I was looking for.I would just return and order the M, and deal with the shorter arms. IF it were the distressed leather style shown in photos. So will instead will return for refund.

Doesn’t fit if you need it larger than Large
I wear a 2XL and ordered a 3XL. Reading in comments they ship small. What I received was at best a large. If you wear XL or larger, don’t bother ordering from them. Returning it your still stuck with the tax and shipping chargers. I do not recommend doing business with them.

Pretty nice, runs small, but quality varies.
I ordered two just to get the right size. A large and a extra large. I'm a medium normally so one size up is a good rule of thumb. The extra large I bought was way too big. The large I bought was a perfect fit, well made, and really nice leather. However, the extra large, which I returned, was a completely different type of leather. The one I kept has soft supple leather, the one I returned had thick stiff leather. I'm guessing they just use whatever leather is available. That aside, the one I kept is very nice and looks good. The only weird thing is that it does zipper from the left hand side. The inconsistency in materials is why I only gave it a four. The jacket I kept is definitely a five and the one I returned is a three.

Nice lightweight leather jacket
UPDATE:They still haven't sent a replacement in the larger size and the date of arrival and price keeps changing. Adjusting the score down significantly from 4 stars to 2 ... sad.I like everything about this jacket ... except for the sizing. I normally wear a LARGE so I followed the instructions size chart and recommended to go up 1 size and ordered an XL ... sadly it is still too small and the price has increased in just a few days ... but since I really love the jacket I will reorder now and get an XXL ... and pray that it fits. As far as the jacket ... yes, I'm pretty sure that it is real, authentic, genuine leather and according to the website it is goat but it is odd that the authenticity is not noted on any attached tag. The "leather" is slightly distressed and soft to the touch ... definately not shiny but not totally dull either ... sort of an in between luster. As I said, it's actually a well made leather jacket in a nice dark brown color and slightly distressed looking in a few places. For the money, you can't go wrong ... but my advice ... order TWO sizes up. In my case, I'm a perfect men's Large and the XL did NOT work ... so now trying the XXL. GOOD LUCK!

Excellent well made good looking jacket!!
Absolutely beautiful jacket very well made. We ordered an XL for my dad for Father’s Day. I told my sister it would be too small but she insisted and I trust she knew better. When we received it my son tried it on and it fit him perfectly. He said we needed an XXl for my dad and he was right we are returning for a larger size. But such a great looking jacket. Order true to size.

Really nice jacket. Sizing chart is way off
The leather in this jacket is really nice but jacket was way too small. I ordered two sizes up and it was still too tight. The sizing chart is way off.Customer service with this company is awesome. They paid for me to mail the jacket back to them and refunded my money very quickly. Very kind people great to work with.

Nice jacket but....
I got the Navy G1. It looks and fits good but it doesn't have the inner wind exclusion flap that is supposed to be under the zipper. It is shown in the picture but the jacket as sold is missing this important piece. The collar could also have been a little thicker and a bit darker brown as the originals did not get that light with even years of use and they started out the same color as the knit cuffs and waist. Still for the discount it isn't too bad. At least it fits like my old original. I'll just have to figure out how to color the collar darker.UPDATE 7/18/23Seller has communicated that The jackets are being changed to include an inner wind flap. No pictures yet of if this will be sewn onto the leather that is there or if a whole new wider one piece inner flap will replace the old narrow flap that just holds the zipper.
