I have a BMW 335i and did hours of research on motor oils. Conventional vs Synthetic.The oil companies do alot of flashy marketing and dont give the full story on their product.Most American made oils are Group 3 synthetics which are highly refined from Crude, they are NOT Full Synthetic even though they advertise them as such.True Synthetics fall into Group 4 and Group 5AMSoil is Group 4Redline is Group 5This product is a highly refined group 3 with some good stats.Viscosity Index 176HTHS 3.5TBN 11.2Sulfate Ash 1.0-1.6gFlash point 230 degrees CelciusAs you do you research you will find the Specifications for True Synthetics are more rigorous in Europe vs the USAFor approximately 7.00 per quart This is a damn good oil, my oil temp runs 10-20 degrees cooler vs Castrol Synthetic. Since running Liqui Moly the engine is spotless, the additive pack does a very good job.I alternate this oil and Liqui Moly Leichtlauf High Tech 5w-40 (This is a Group 4 full synthetic)I am a firm believer in Liqui Moly products as i have seen the results from an analysis through Blackstone on my own vehicle.I also use their Jectron Fuel Sysyem cleaner as well.For the price and performance its hard to beat Liqui Moly!

Really good motor oil. I have started using this in my Mini Countryman all4 . It has a BMW motor in it and runs like a champ, I really think the valve train is quieter with this oil than the previous BMW brand motor oil. A mechanic at the place where I get the car inspected recommended trying it and seeing how the car runs. It revs very easy, (it revved easily before) but I think the valvetrain is quieter. Yeah I am satisfied,and the engine runs quieter now. Good stuff.thanks.
