Quite a nice rack... If you know what I mean
I will start off by saying this is a very nice bike rack. It's built quite well and is pretty sturdy. The package was much lighter than I anticipated. Everything came in separate bags and was pretty easy to figure out how to put together. I do wish instructions came with it though, as it would make it easier for others to put it together (who might not be as handy or clever). All in all it took about an hour to put together. It was a nice bonus that all the necessary tools for the job did in fact come with the kit. Once properly assembled, it is very strong and should hold up as its meant to. I find it important to mention that if you have back shocks, this kit will render them basically useless. Not a huge deal for me as I only really ride on trails in parks and nothing that would require me to use the rear shocks. The rack is adjustable and should fit basically most bikes no problem. It's well designed and looks good in my bike. I do with the reflector that came with it was a bit nicer, it's kinda junky. Please be advised I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review. All of my reviews are strictly my thoughts and opinions. My goal is to help other customers make the best decision for what they're shopping for. None of my statements are biased or untrue.

Great Quality for a Good Price
I recently purchased a great quality bike for the first time in my life, and I found myself wanting to ride it absolutely everywhere! I'm a student, so I regularly ride it to campus, but I also take it to the store, the park, and to visit friends and family. I frequently need to transport large items that don't fit in my backpack, so I needed something to tie things down to. I was very happy to find such a great priced cargo rack with incredible reviews, and it did not disappoint!Pros- Very light, yet can support a LOT of weight!- Great design that allows you to easily attach bungee chords or rope to tie multiple things down.- Easy to put together-- doesn't take very long, and all of the tools are included.- The back of the rack has a reflector, so safety was in mind in the design. I was worried it would block my bike's reflector, but they were one step ahead!- They provide little rubber slips for some of the joints in case your bike has a slightly smaller diameter like mine.- They also provide a little bungee chord that works very well with the design of the rack. I left it on there and use it regularly with my two additional bungees.- I've had it for about a month now, and I use it regularly, and I haven't noticed any wear or tear.- It helps prevent rain splatter from the ground to my back!Cons- The cargo rack doesn't come with paper instructions, but you can easily find the instructions online here: . Arguably, this is a pro because we aren't wasting paper!- The rack is somewhat narrow, which makes it more difficult to keep larger objects on top of it. This keeps the weight down, though, and you can easily add a piece of wood or cardboard to extend the edges, if needed. All in all, this will be the cargo rack I come back to when I convince my husband to get a bike. It is super high quality and a price you can't beat.

GREAT rack, but be prepared to get different lengths of bolts
I ride year-round in all types of weather and use my bike to carry all types of loads, from groceries, to small luggage and art supplies. So I need something that is wide, very sturdy, utilitarian and affordable. This rack so far - is meeting my needs and I'd recommend it. The directions are online, easy to follow from your smart phone or computer print out. Easy installation with detailed pics. I like the small side rail protectors to protect spokes but also serve as attachment points for bungee cords to secure large loads. I can easily take it off or reinstall with the quick release top and two side bolts without disassembling the entire rig. Rather like putting a saddle on a horse.@@@ BE AWARE OF THESE DETAILS:@@@@ i understand there are so many types of frames the manufacturer cannot include all the different sized bolts//screws, but the ones they sent were too long for the various widths of my frame so be aware you might have to get some size 14 & 16 in same diameter ---so add about $15 to the price of the rack. Also, I did have to raise my seat post a little higher than I prefer in order to install the rack so it cleared my tires. But that's the design of the mountain bikes and I'll compromise on that to use the rack. I even drilled some quick holes on the top of my rear fender to secure it to the bottom of the rack with their pre-existing screw posts. So be aware of those things you might have to modify. Be creative.. Ride safe and explore... Otherwise... very happy with my purchase.

Best Bicycle Rack Ever.
Very stable and very strong; I chose to use the last hole at the end of the rack for extra strength, and threw away the bag holders, and then I took heavy duty extra strong tie wraps and tied a heavy duty plastic box milk crate on the back, and threw a new 30 pack of beer in it and the rack had no problem. I use this rack on a woman's ROADMASTER Granite Peaks 18 speed, and it will work also on a Mongoose 29 inch tires 21 speed. Later, I went to the grocery store and I put two crates of 5 liter wine boxes full of wine, and I laid a 30 pack of beer on top of the wine crates, and I threw an 8 pound bag of potatoes in the box as well, and I threw a 3/8 galvanized chain 8 feet long in the box and drove very slowly, and the bike was a little unstable so it was no time to be stupid, and I could have drove nice and slow to the end of the World, and had myself a good party, and there is no way my old rack that screws into the bike frame could have handled this task. You saved my Christmas Party Acomfort, and Thank You. EYE 5
