This is solid stuff, and pretty stiff, but a lot thicker than Lacy's Stiff Stuff. It's good if you're drawing the pattern by hand, not so much when you have your pattern scanned digitally and want to print it on the backing.

No dislikes. Sturdy and stuff. Perfect.

This was perfect for my bead embroidered bezel project. It was easy to sew through, but kept its body.

In the past I have used Lacy's Stiff Stuff as my beading foundation almost exclusively, so I was a little reluctant to try something different. That said, I really liked the fact that this product came already colored - no messy dyes or sharpies to deal with! - so I decided to give it a go. The Beadsmith foundation is indeed comparable, and so far I have encountered no problems with it. It isn't quite as stiff as Lacy's is, but still provides a nice, solid base which is easy to work with, and supports heavy stones and beadwork quite well. I will definitely order again and hope to see more colors in future!

I received this folded in half which defeats the purpose as it is meant to lay flat and be sturdy for beading. It could have easily fit the package laying flat.
