Icily thought out
Still getting accustomed to it but early use suggests it’s a keeper. Only concern would be for adding liquids to it because it doesn’t seal tight otherwise than that the utensil convenience is great. I’m an adult and it holds enough for a nice lunch and snack but if you have a hearty appetite maybe a larger system would be better. The size is great for roadtrips and helps with not stopping at gas stations for snacks or food too. I like it!

I like it
I love this Bentgo box! It's the perfect size for adult portions and the 3 compartments keep everything separated so nothing gets soggy. It's super sturdy, stackable, and easy to clean - I've put it in the dishwasher and microwave with no issues. Great for work lunches and meal prep, keeps me from overeating. The lid closes securely and the design is so cute. Exactly what I needed!

Compact little lunch container
When it arrived, I wondered if it would hold enough. It actually does! I like that one container is divided, and one not. The bottom portion snaps together fairly well, not leakproof for liquids, but well enough for salads. The top one has a groove to sit on, but doesn’t snap in. So far I have been very pleased with it. The only cons are I wish the top snapped on and the utensils are not that great. They are kind of rubbery, so the fork tines bend when trying to use it. I have access to cutlery at work, so no biggie. Besides the silverware, it was pretty much what I was looking for. Simplified bringing lunch to work

Okay lunchbox, not worth the price and arguably not even superior to basic tupperware, company is known to manipulate reviews
It's okay, but has some major problems. I suggest looking at competing products instead of buying this. The volume is not too bad. The top compartment has a divider you can't remove. It would have been much better if the divider was removable. It's annoying to have to split the same dish between the two halves. Also food gets trapped in the corners at the bottom of the divider and it's hard to get out, when eating and even when washing. They should have made those corners rounded instead of 90 degrees. I suppose the divider is there to keep liquids separate, but that wouldn't work: The seal of the lid is not very strong so the liquid would probably leak out, and the divider doesn't make contact with the lid so as soon as the box is not upright (in your bag) they will mix anyway. The shape is a bit of a problem. Perhaps it's unfair to complain about this since I knew the dimensions before buying, but keep in mind that this is not easy to fit into some backpacks. The strap and the lids are very loose so it's very stressful to have it in my backpack in an awkward position (eg. rotated). The strap is very bad. It's basically a soft, flexible fabric. You can use the buckle to adjust the tension, but it seems like your only options are to keep it loose (thus defeating the point of the strap) or really tighten it, which will quickly fatigue the belt and make it loose again. So basically a useless strap because they chose a bad material. I would have preferred a strong seal or a buckle, and ideally the box should still be sealable when not stacked, for portability. A really big inconvenience is the washing requirements. I don't feel like I'm asking too much if I want something I can throw in the dishwasher at the end of the day and be done with it. It is advertised as "dishwasher safe". The manual booklet that comes with it says "Your Bentgo is completely dishwasher safe", but then "If the sealing strap gets dirty, hand wash only". Guess it's not completely dishwasher safe then, huh? I don't mean to nitpick, but they could have easily made the strap dishwasher safe as well, and avoided this whole complication. But they decide to use the stupid fabric they did for god knows what reason. But then the other paper it comes with (yes, this lunch box comes with 2 manuals) says "It is NOT recommended to dishwash or microwave the Bentgo top lid, divider lid or sealing strap". So the instructions contradict themselves, very annoying. Worse, they don't even explain what will happen if you do dishwash. Will it warp? Will it not wash well? Who knows. Basically, it all seems like a bunch of malarkey so they can act like a non-dishwashable product is dishwasher safe and manipulate search results. Keep in mind that in all, this includes 7 parts which must be washed every time, and some are difficult to wash thoroughly (see above about the divider). So it is a bit of a hassle, unless you love doing dishes. In all, I guess for some limited use cases it's a serviceable box, worth maybe $8-10. Don't bother buying for $15, way too much for what it is. Because of the poor seal, divider, etc. however, you would actually be better off with even basic tupperware you can get at your supermarket for 2 bucks each. Those have a perfect seal, are actually dishwashable, and not overpriced. The only advantage of this lunch box is that it has a place for holding utensils... Which, by the way, is also not very good: The utensils never quite fit because they are too close together, and it's annoying to stack the boxes properly after putting the utensils in. If you are looking for a lunch box, I really suggest checking out other products, either at the same or higher price point. This one is frustrating and even the relatively low price still feels like a ripoff. There's gotta be a better one out there.

A sleek, expertly designed lunch box that allows you to bring a whole meal!
On instagram, there are always a bunch of photos of food in bento boxes, and I got really jealous of the way people could put such a variety of foods in their bento boxes. Every Monday and Wednesday I bring a lunch box to school, and inside the lunchbox, I have some flimsy (probably harmful to my health) tuperware full of the food I brought for lunch. And if I wanted to bring chips, which I haven't been doing lately because I don't like to waste bags, I would have to bring it inside a bag. So I thought it'd be cool if I could find a cool bento box to bring my food in. And through Amazon, my favorite site for shopping, I found the Bentgo lunchbox! The reviews were extremely favorable towards the box, and it makes a lot of sense. The Bentgo lunch box has a very sleek design, which I love—the designer really thought out each aspect of the lunchbox. It's designed in a way that allows you to not only bring a main dish but also two sides or even a side and some dip. This is possible because the lunchbox is made out of two containers: one larger bottom container and one smaller container with a divider. The two containers are held together by a strap (what a great idea). This is great because it saves you from bringing too many separate containers and/or baggies. The fabulous design also allows me to bring reusable utensils (that were included in the package), so I would stop wasting plastic utensils from my school—what another great idea. I've only used the Bentgo lunchbox twice so far, but I'm already really glad I got it. My first lunch consisted of ramen noodles (and, admittedly, my second lunch consisted of ramen noodles) in the big bottom container and hummus and chips in the top container. Usually, before the Bentgo box, I would just bring ramen noodles to school, but because of the awesome divider in the top container, I was able to bring a snack in the top. All the exciting possibilities of stuff that I can bring in the top container along with my main meal in the bottom container is awesome! The idea of bringing fruits, vegetables, or chips in the top without having to baggie it up is awesome. The only thing is that because the top is smaller I wasn't able to bring as many tortilla chips as I wanted to, but it does hold a lot of dip. Now, as I said above, I had brought ramen noodles to school. I filled up the Bentgo with water at school, and then I microwaved it there. From that point, I closed everything up and brought it to a different building on my campus. When I opened up everything, there was absolutely no leaks. This is great because it shows how tight everything is sealed. The nylon strap really does a great job. It's obvious to see that each aspect of the Bentgo box was well designed. Really, I see myself using the Bentgo box a lot in my next two years as a college student. I love how the box is BPA free and how sturdy the box is, and I love how I won't be wasting plastic baggies carrying food. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Bentgo box to my friends because this easily beats bringing food in flimsy tupperware. So if you find yourself in need of a new lunchbox like I did, I don't think you could really go wrong with the Bentgo lunch box.

Gutes Bento
