Long and durable, ideal if you can keep out of the weather.

This works as advertised but is not copper wires; they are just aluminum plated with a bit of copper.As a booster cable they are fine but not for running a removable winch for long as the cables get warm.

Got 1 gauge. After cutting and examination - cannot crimp with 1 gauge connector - cable slides off after crimping. Tried with gauge 2 and it is ok. So... not sure up to what standards they advertise it as gauge 1 while size of core is actually gauge 2.Otherwise have feeling of good jumper cables. If you buy it to make heavy duty cables then if you buy 1 gauge consider it as 2 gauge.Also remember it is not pure copper (core is aluminum coated with copper) - as disclosed by seller.For occasional use are fine.

Aunque el maletín es sencillo, los cables de verdad están demasiado resistentes y gruesos, creo que soportarán fácilmente el trabajo duro.

I purchased these for the winter for my toyota corolla when my car broke down. For some reason these wouldn't work when another honda gave me a boost. However when a truck pulled up and gave me a boost it worked fine. Not sure if it's because of the gauge or what, but now i will only be asking people with Suvs or large trucks for a boost :)
