Works as advertised, even with Honeywell Leak Detector
I have a Honeywell Leak Detector that came with a 4 foot cabled and wanted to extend it a little. These looked a little cheaper than the Honeywell ones, considering they are 6.5 feet long and only a couple dollars more. I contacted the mfg to make sure it was compatible, but they didn't know. Since this offered free returns I decided to try it. Just now I added it onto my Leak Detector and shoved a section in a glass of water. Almost immediately the alarm went off, and I got an email notification. So these are 100% compatible with Honeywell.

Brilliant! Works and saved me thousands of dollars with early detection!
Wow! We just put these in 2 weeks ago by our washer and in our basements mechanical room. The alarm went off tonight and we were able to detect a ejector pump failure immediately therefore saving a ton of money on cleanup! These truly work and alerted us on our phones where the leak was and had an audible alarm.

Easy way to monitor your basement for water leaks
Worked perfectly for extending the Eve Water Guard!! I extended the Eve Water Guard along a wall I suspected had water coming in from outside and linked it to Home Kit using my iPhone. It was easy to link and went off after washing my house off. I would recommend this for anyone with a basement.

Doesn’t support Apple Private relay or a VPN.
No where in the documentation do they tell you this doesn’t support Apple Private relay or a VPN. Yet it is sold and an Apple HomeKit product. Took a week of back and forth with their support team for them to tell me this and to tell me to return the product. Responsive support team but it’s a real problem if they don’t support the Apple environment. Found it hard to believe and asked the agents to escalate the issue and they still came back: we don’t support it and pleas return the products.

The build quality is good, and the length gives me more flexibility in placement. It’s also more cost-effective than the branded alternatives, which makes it an easy upgrade. If you’re looking to expand your leak detection setup, this cable is a dependable and compatible choice.
