Now that she is in danger, all thought of not wanting a mate are thrown out the window. Xan is done running from his destiny and is more than willing to claim the one that was made for him and destroy anyone that thinks to take her away from him.Breezy is a little distrustful of Xan due to his past of being a man whore with any willing woman that crossed his path, as well as his own belief of Breezy’s experience. But Breezy has her own past to deal with, a past that is about to come back to haunt her. Her inner strength is about to be tested, and she will have to decide if she is willing to give her heart to the one man that she has always wanted.Will Xan be able to protect what has come to mean the world to him, or will the past destroy any future that he and Breezy could have together?Xan and Breezy are AMAZING together! I absolutely loved them when they finally got together and Xan quit fighting the mating pull. Xan is a total badass and Breezy is stronger than she gave herself credit for, and shows that she is a badass in her own right! The chemistry of the characters is awesome and the book will pull the reader right into the storyline and not let them stop reading until the last word. There is the right amount of danger, steamy hot sex scenes, and intrigue. This series keeps getting better and I can’t wait for the next book to come out!

This book is on my most favorite book list. It pulled me in and kept me there. I read it straight through not stopping to sleep till I was done (3 am in the morning) I loved the characters and how they worked together or not. I laughed so much throughout it. I love how some of her words were southern it reminded me of my birth place. I pulled for so many of the people in it. I would love to see more characters in the book get their own stories. She has at least four couples or possible couples that just have to come together, please. The sex seen were so hot you needed a fan. The love and sweetness of Xan made you fall in love with him even if he had a demanding and messed up past. I loved the phantom team they were crazy and bada**. This is the first book I have read from this author but will for sure not be the last. I will keep my eye out for more on this series. Sorry I do not know how to use more of the descriptive words and struggle to say what I am thinking. I hope you are helped by what I have wrote. Elle you rock.

Though this book seemed more fleshed out as far as character development than the first book it was still lacking to me. I love sexually explicit stories so the sex was not problem for me, I just wished that there were more detail to the plot. It seemed rushed, glossed over, and the way she switches POV's, which seems to just be her style, is confusing. I didn't always know who was talking, or who's POV I was in.. it switched from one paragraph to another with no rhyme or reason, and no markers indicating a switch.These books are fun, short reads, but the premis is so great that I just wish there was more to them!!

Breezy has been in love with Xan for a very long time. The Alpha male just doesn't want to admit that they're mates.This book opens with an attack on Breezy. After getting safely to the clubhouse, she escapes the watchful eyes of the guys when Xan does what he does best, pisses her off. Xan follows but not in time to prevent her being forced off the road.Taking her home with him is the only option and he also needs to admit she's the only one for him.The thing is Breezy doesn't trust Xan, he's a player, plus he thinks shes been playing around too. Ah, the tangled little web.As Xan convinces her he is worthy of being her mate, there's also the that irritating fact someone is out to get her.Plenty of surprises in this book, as Breezy's past meets the present in the form of a very angry and crazy wolf.I can't wait to read Kellen's story!

Xan (Lyric's brother) finally gets a clue about what's be in his face for years, his mate. Breezy, a nurse & a member of the Iron Wolves has known for quite some time that Xan is hers. When she gets attacked after work, but gets away the gloves come off & they both admit their feelings for each other & mate. However the threat is still out there & gunning for her; it not until near the end of this book that Breezy realizes who's been after her all this time. As this is a HEA story the good prevail over the bad or in this case the deranged; this book has fast-paced action, lots of sex scenes, sexy wolves & humans (the humans are friends of Rowan's before he turned wolf). This was a very good book & I will be definitely staying with this series.

I love him! I love him! I love him! And Breezy's freaking awesome, too! I love Elle Boon's books and this series is amazing! Xan and Breezy have known each other forever and it hasn't been all peaches and cream. Heck, none of it's been peaches and cream. Even though he knows they're mates, Xan is bound and determined NOT to do anything about it. But when danger threatens Breezy, all of his protection instincts go into overdrive and, well, we get to sit back and enjoy the ride! Sexy, steamy, loving, caring moments. The plot is well written for this series and the characters are full and real. I very much enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more! Definitely recommend!

One of the things I love most about Elle's writing is, you always here about past characters & you feel like a part of their family. This is book 2 in the Iron Wolves series & so far I am more than impressed! Nice work Elle!

This is the second book in the series by Elle Boon. From start to finish this book is totally amazing. Breezy is so totally cool and Xan is sexy and so hot. Breezy has spent years waiting for Xan loving him but before now deranged killer is after breezy ....Will Xan and the Iron Wolfs be able to save her? Buy the book to get the answer you will not regret it

I LOVE THIS SERIES! It absolutely takes me away and into the story itself. Ms. Boon's characters are deep, loyal, honest, tough, sexy and swoonworthy. It's wonderful how she weaves the stories from one chapter to the next. Xan and Breezy and totally hot together and I love the interaction of all the characters, I even saw one that I wasn't expecting. That's what Ms. Boon gives you, the unexpected and it keeps you reading page after page. I highly recommend this series to new readers.

Elle Boon is a relatively new author for me, but I quickly came to love her books, and look forward to a new one coming out. Her new Iron Wolves MC series is terrific and I absolutely loved the first book so I was over the moon when the second book in the series, Xan's Feisty Mate, came out. I couldn't wait to read it. Full-length, action packed and overflowing with steamy paranormal romance that's guaranteed to get you hot under the collar, I was totally hooked from the first page to the last. I absolutely loved it and can't wait for the next one.Xan Carmichael, an alpha wolf who doesn't want to lead, is the beta of the Iron Wolves MC and happily follows his best friend and pack alpha Kellen. He's having a good time being something of a man-whore even though he knows, because his wolf keeps telling him, that he's found his true mate. He has a low opinion of her because of the way she dresses and thinks of her as having been around the block a few times as the local bike, always insulting her and taking a certain amount of pleasure in her pain on the odd occasions she's walked in on him in the club house office having his way with other women. He really doesn't want a mate and when he does get around to it he wants a nice submissive wolf who hasn't been with every other male member of the pack. Talk about double standards. The man needs to be brought up short, and given a sharp lesson in reality, which comes when the object of his derision is attacked on her way out of work. Then all bets are off and boy, is he in for as shock.....Briely Mattice, usually known as Breezy, is a nurse who lives a pretty quiet and boring life. She goes to work, the pack club house and home, and thinks she must be the only 27 year old virgin left on the planet. She's known who her true mate is for years, has known him all her life and wishes he didn't think of her as some kind of whore. She's waited for him forever, and turned down so many others because they don't do anything for her. Sadly, she's hopelessly in love with Xan, although why, given what he's put her through, I have no idea. It's obviously a wolf thing. Leaving work at the hospital one night, she's attacked on her way to her car and although she manages to escape, she is injured. She just wants to go home and soak in the bath, but given the attacks on two other pack females just a few weeks before, she rings the club house and tells Kellen what just happened to her. When she arrives there she's confused when suddenly confronted with a very different Xan....I don't want to give any more spoilers, I think you need to read this fantastic book for yourselves. Filled with terrific characters from hard as nails and hunky good guys to deranged, certifiable and brainwashed bad guys, this book is full of action and although we find out who is after Breezy and why, it doesn't explain who attacked Lyric and Taya or the note that was left on Breezy's windscreen at the same time. Well written in the third person, there's an awful lot of story and humour packed into this fantastic paranormal romance along with some really painful memories for some. There are fights galore, and not just with the bad guys, covert action with the Phantom Team making an appearance and looking like they'll be sticking around, domineering males trying to take care of their mates as well as some who haven't got it together yet. And there's steam, lots and lots of steam. There is a happily ever after for Breezy and Xan, although I'd probably have told him to take a running jump after the way he's treated her. I certainly wouldn't have made it as easy as she did, but then, I'm not a wolf in love with my true mate. Although, I might make an exception if one were to give me a Knight XV Urban Assault Vehicle with V-10 engine of my very own. Good job they've got two of them, they'll come in handy in the war they're expecting. This book can easily be read as a stand alone paranormal romance. There's no cliff-hanger ending here, but threads have been carefully woven into the story and left open for future books and I'm looking forward to reading them with relish. Bring on the next one - I really can't wait.

Just one word to describe this book...WOW!!!!This is book two of this series and it's as amazing as the first book. It's action packed and has hot alpha men.. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more.. The chemistry between Xan and Breezy is hot hot hot... If you take all of that and you add danger to a mate you get an explosive amazing read.Can't wait for the next book of this series to come out. I was given an arc in exchange for my honest review.

This one didn't start out the best for me but once Xan got over his jerky behaviour it was better and I felt I could get into it more.Just a bit tired of the H being a man-whore and that's cool, acceptable and manly but if its hinted that the h has sexual experience its seen as something she should be ashamed of and I think in this one the H even went to say that he didn't want a mate "who had been around the block" (even though she was a virgin), totally acceptable for him but not her, ahhh it annoys me and is becoming more common. Then the h even tried dressing how she though he would like, just NO!Breezy is supposed to be a wolf too and I know there are submissives but she came across as a doormat and did whatever Xan wanted. Would have like for her to have a bit more of a backbone with certain things.Loved all the secondary characters and the continued world building, plot was interesting though not much of an MC feel to it, more like a wolf pack that occasionally ride a bike. I most certainly will continue with the series.
