Ever find something that is inexpensive, simple, and works PERFECTLY? Yep, this is one of those products! After several months of temping and charting my cycles, I bought these test strips when we started actively TTC, and used them for two months before getting pregnant. I was a bit skeptical of these strips given the low price, but figured it was worth a try. I started using the ovulation test strips daily in the evening about 6 days before my earliest temp shift, and both months I was able to see several days of negative results, one day of a darker test line that was still a bit lighter than the control (beginning of LH surge), one day with test line darker than control (LH peak), one day of test dark but a bit lighter than control (end of LH surge) and then back to negative. Both months, I got my temp shift the morning after the first test strip that went back to negative, confirming that I had in fact ovulated after the LH surge detected by the test strips (I think this is unusually late, but it appears to be my personal pattern). My second month using the ovulation test strips, my temperature went up instead of down the morning of the day I expected to get my period, so I used one of the pregnancy test strips and I got a very, very faint positive at what was probably 11 days after ovulation (12 days after my most positive ovulation test and 9 days after my first higher post-ovulation temperature). The pregnancy tests got noticeably darker over next two days, and when I tested just for fun a week later (at approximately 4.5 weeks pregnant) I got a very strong positive with the test line almost as dark as the control. In total, I used about a third to half of the tests over two months, and I did not come across any defective strips in my box. The only negative I found with these tests was that you have to dip them in a cup of urine rather than just holding them in the stream, but I didn't have any problem with that, and certainly can't complain at this price (the fact that there's less material and plastic in each product also makes them a bit more environmentally friendly, so it's a plus too I guess). TL;DR - easy to use, easy to read, highly sensitive and accurate, unbeatable price, good ratio of ovulation tests to pregnancy tests. Highly recommended!

I was on the nexplanon birth control 2 months ago. We didn’t conceive the first month, which was expected but still disappointing. However, I of course wasn’t ready for another dissappointing month without knowing that I’m at least trying more than just laying there. So, I bought this combo pack even though I already had 15 left of my other pregnancy test strips and could’ve just gone with the full ovulation pack. I’m SO happy that I did. The ovulation strips work perfectly, but I didn’t take any progression pics because once they dry, they all dry pretty dark which isn’t a good representation at all for what they looked like at the time. (So DEFINITELY ONLY READ AND USE THE RESULTS AROUND 5 MINUTES. Anything after that is truly inaccurate with these tests.) I thought when I started testing that a positive LH surge would be obvious, but it wasn’t at the time. Looking back— it Should have been obvious. Every day, the line was definitely more faint than the control line, then one day it was significantly darker. HOWEVER, because it wasn’t quite as “dark as the control line”, I second guessed myself and asked a friend who confirmed that it was a positive. The next day when I tested, it was as dark as the line, then in the afternoon it was darker, then the next morning it was back to being light. (I was testing in AM and PM) Flash forward to 9 days past ovulation (6 days before missed period) and I used one of these pregnancy strips thinking that I was testing too early anyway and didn’t want to waste one of my others. Even though these tests have a sensitivity level of 25miu, I was completely surprised to see the Faintest of lines at only 9DPO. I didn’t have time to test with my other brand (another internet cheapie purchased as well off of amazon) as I had to run to work, but on the way home I ended up buying a clearblue digital because I thought MAYBE my eyes were deceiving me because the line was So faint and I have definitely thought I’ve seen lines before. The digital test look longer than the 5 minutes but finally came back with “positive”. Since then, I have been using these to show line progression and to ease my mind that it isn’t a chemical pregnancy since I ran that risk of false excitement by testing so early. I have also tested twice now with the same urine on my old tests to see how it would have held up. These pregmate strips are significantly thicker which makes the line that much easier to see. I can honestly say that I can BARLEY see the line from day one on these strips which have obviously dried and is even darker than it would have been then. So, I know for sure that on the thinner test strip I would have 100% missed the positive. Overall, because I bought these I can now know with certainty how old my baby should— which was a big concern being that I didn’t know when my ovulation would happen after being on birth control for over a year. It was a great experience with a great, easy-to-use product. I’m officially switching brands and will not be buying the other “5-star” amazon listing anymore.

This kit has everything you need if you are comfortable reading strips. Note: Some people are not okay with reading strips because of faint lines and that is okay! My recommendation is to get an “easy” kit with a yes / no response if that is more your speed. I like several things about this kit. First, the financial benefit is there when you know you will be testing for several months on end. Second, the kit also comes with an additional 10 HCG (pregnancy) test strips. I didn’t realize how beneficial this bonus would be until stay at home orders were issued where we live. I am on an immunosuppressive therapy and I do not go to the store or pharmacy if I can help it. Back to the reasons this kit is great... I purchased the 40 LH + 10 HCG test strips kit. In conjunction with an ovulation app, I am and now able to recognize the signs leading up to a surge to test. This has helped me use only a few strips per cycle. In the beginning you’ll probably use more and that, too, is okay! Lastly, the level of supportive information provided from the box, to instruction manual, to the QR code located on the strips, the box, and the manuals (LH and HCG). So, if you’re self conscious about the box being seen and want to put the packets in a container or lose the instructions, no worries the QR code is on the backside of the packet as well. The packets themselves are also cutely decorated and feel less clinical. For those of us who live with health issue - less clinical feeling is nice. I’ve used this kit for a little over 5 months - first to learn my cycle in my family planning app, and then for when we started TTC. Now that I am seeing a doctor to help move things along, I’m empowered with pretty accurate data. Out of the 40 test strips, I’ve only had one come back that could not be read.

I'm really glad we used these. I have irregular cycles and these really helped us in predicting when our fertile window was really happening. We got pregnant on the second cycle using these. For several months prior I had been tracking my CM. When we started using these I learned that it wasn't till the very end of the fertile CM that I would have my LH surge. I was really consistent with the testing. Not only with the time of day (10:00 am and 8:00 pm each day I was waiting for the surge) but with trying to hold my urine for 2 to 3 hours prior to the test. This last bit was not recommended by the manufacturer, they simply recommend reducing fluids for two hours prior, but I was really aiming for consistency and the first month I used these tests I noticed the levels bouncing around too much. Consistency is important because there's always a base line of LH in your system and when I tested this way I could always predict about a day in advance when my surge was going to happen. I took a picture of each test five minutes after taking it because the results don't hold perfectly and this made it easier to compare them. I actually ended up going through three different periods of testing in the two cycles that we were using these because in the second cycle I saw the fertile CM and then I tested for the surge - it came and went and two weeks later I didn't get my period but I also wasn't getting a positive pregnancy test. Confused and frustrated I waited around for something, anything. Then a week later I noticed more fertile CM. I started testing again and treated this as my fertile window and got another, even stronger LH surge. I guessed my luteal phase (the phase between ovulation and the end of the cycle) by using the number of days between the previous cycles surge and the arrival of Aunt Flo, as 17 days. I tested on the 18th day after the surge. Bam! Super clear positive! So apparently I ovulated around day 42 of my cycle! We are so excited for baby #2 ❤ and we're really glad we used these tests.

I got these when we were TTC early in the year after running out of my Natural Cycle tests. They perform exactly the same but I noticed inconsistencies in the quality of the results through 3 cycles.. First, for the ovulation tests the "test line" never seemed to get as dark as my natural cycle tests. I eventually ended up testing daily for a cycle just to get a feel of if they were working and they still would test negative or be VERY faint days before and on my ovulation days (confirmed with my Oura & Natural Cycle Apps) The last cycle I tested on cycle days 5, 8, 10 & 14 and all were negative with exception of the faintest line day 10. Too faint for what the tests & my app day as positive. So I thought I missed the ovulation days or something was off with me.. we got ready to try another cycle but found out I was already pregnant LOL The tried and true "give it a go every 2 days" did the trick for us but would have been less stressful to have reliable tests. On a budget these COULD be good enough but next baby I'll get the brand name tests. For the pregnancy tests in this kit the line was STILL super faint, compared to the NC and First Response tests. I'd say if you really need results these might not be the best
