Great electric toothbrush
I already have the white one, my adult son said his dentist told him he needs to start using an electric toothbrush to get his back teeth clean. He likes it and said it does a great job.

Crooked, Overcrowded, Yellow Teeth
Let me start this review by saying that when I was younger, much to my parent's dismay, I neglected to brush my teeth. I would brush them but not as often and as thoroughly as a child should. This was partly due to my very bad gag reflex and partly due to the fact that it felt painful (?). Anyway, I've had yellow teeth my whole life (I'm 29) because of it. I never got braces (thanks again gag reflex) but my parents tried everything to get me to have better oral hygiene and to have a more aesthetically pleasing smile. Now that I'm well into adulthood, my smile being so yellow, and also very crowded, was starting to bother me. I knew I had to give in and fix one or the other. (To be clear if you have crooked teeth don't feel like you have to change yourself just for society - after 29 years, I can say that I truly wanted to change the yellowness purely for myself). I've gotten healthier in almost all other aspects of my life. I decided to make the plunge and buy this in hopes it would help get my teeth cleaner and help reduce plaque buildup. Not just for aesthetics, but for actual oral hygiene. So, I've used it twice a day for 3 days so far and my brother commented on how "white" my teeth look yesterday evening. That felt very good to hear, not gonna lie. I think this toothbrush is amazing for the price. I love how tiny the head of the brush is. It fits into my small, overcrowded mouth perfectly. I was worried that it would take forever to brush my teeth since I wasn't doing the work, the toothbrush was. However, it takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds or 3 minutes if you're extra thorough. It allots 30 seconds to each section of your mouth, it will do a variation in the vibration to let you know when the 30 seconds is up and to move to the next portion of your mouth. It doesn't automatically shut off after 3 minutes (that I know of) if you want to go back and do another section of your mouth, which is nice. As for the pressure sensor on the toothbrush, mine does not work. It doesn't indicate any color or anything. It just appears to be a normal electric toothbrush. I may have gotten a "bad" toothbrush since it's not working, but to be honest, I truly just wanted something that would do a deep clean and this toothbrush does that. However, all the other reviews mention the sensor working so if that's something you're looking for, I would still highly recommend this toothbrush. I think mine might just be a dud in that department. The charging took several hours to be full on the first day. I keep it on the charger to ensure that it is always fully charged. If you don't have your charger with you and you need to rely on it without it, I'm told the battery lasts up to a week. Which, is very impressive for a $50 toothbrush. Amazon says that it has Bluetooth connectivity but I do not see any indication of that on the boxes or in the manual. My parents bought me an electric toothbrush when I was little, but I was too young to appreciate it. Now that I'm older, I think this is a great option for any person of any age. I do recommend it!

It's a very good toothbrush for basic cleaning, but sadly it's quite noisy. VERY SLOW CHARGING!
I've watched so many reviews of electric toothbrushes and read a number of head-to-head comparisons. And frankly, it's a bit disgusting how saturated is the electric toothbrush market. Even within a given brand like Braun! Folks, brushing your teeth is NOT a complex task. I really do not understand why people are falling for these super expensive feature laden electric toothbrushes. Bluetooth? Seriously? Who keeps track of their brushing statistics? There's really only 4 things you need: 1) fast motor, 2) timer, 3) multiple settings, 4) good charging.* A fast oscillating motor is important for thorough cleaning.* A timer helps you keep track of progress* High, medium, and low settings are good depending upon the level of cleaning required* Reasonable number of uses per charge, and reasonably fast chargingThere's no question, the motor on this Pro 1000 is fast enough. I can't see needing faster. The timer is fixed at 30 seconds. And this is good, because you divide your upper and lower teeth into 2 sections, that's 4 x 30 seconds = 2 minutes. So I do 1 quadrant for 30 seconds, the toothbrush vibrates 2 times, I switch to the next quadrant. At the end of the 4th quadrant, the toothbrush vibrates 4 times. Simple. You know you're done. No beeping or LED indicator necessary. While there are 3 settings, I tend to use the deep cleaning one most of the time. The Pro 1000 has deep, gentle, and oscillating clean modes. When you first turn it on you begin with deep. That's good for me, as I only have to press once. To get to the other modes, you press another time. And unfortunately, there's no visual indication of what mode you are in. If you change modes, the timer resets. There does seem to be a reasonable number of uses per charge, however... the time to recharge? AWFUL! It takes a full 24 hours to fully charge. This is... extremely annoying. As a result, I have a backup toothbrush I use while this one is charging. My backup? it's a $8 battery powered Oral-B, which is actually a very decent toothbrush on its own. Now, you might ask... why don't I just leave it on the charger? Because that's a bad habit which causes battery life to diminish faster. Probably the best practice is to leave the toothbrush on the charger base most of the time, then once a month have a reminder to take the toothbrush off the charger and just use it until the low battery indicator appears. For a modern day rechargeable battery device like this? Charging shouldn't take more than 8 hours. I guess the problem is that there's not a lithium ion battery inside, for safety.Lastly, the pressure sensor that lets you know you're pressing too hard? It's very difficult to trigger it! Useless. Well, most people should already have a good practice on pressure as it is. I don't see it as a necessary feature. So, no points off for that.Lately I've noticed the price is $49.95. That's a bit high. I paid $29.99 when it was on sale. I think it comes up 2 or 3 times a year. At $30? It's a very good deal._________________________________________________________________________________TL;DR ?When it's on sale for $30? Buy it! It's a very good value. The only real negative ding is the painfully long time to recharge. 24 hours is just too much, for what I consider acceptable. But you could leave it on the charger most of the time, then once a month let it run down. You have about 3 brushing sessions once the low battery light comes on.

Can't Go Wrong
I've been using an Oral B electric toothbrush as far back as I can remember. I haven't had a cavity in decades and always get good reviews at the dentist. (I haven't missed a single day of flossing and brushing since July 3rd, 2011.) I can't even imagine using a hand toothbrush anymore unless I'm cleaning the grout lines in my tile floor. It would be like beating your clothes on a flat rock by the riverbed instead of using a washing machine. Unless you apply too much pressure, this toothbrush easily and effectively cleans the inside and outside rows of your teeth without damaging your gums. It has a timer that buzzes at each 30 second mark so that you are reminded with you should be done cleaning each quadrant, and then has one long buzz at the end of the two minutes that you should take to clean all your teeth. My wife and daughter also use this brush and have only good things to say about it. My son uses the sonic type and has good luck, but I will always recommend Oral B and use it myself.

Great quality for the price!
Wow, I am very happy with how solid and powerful this brush is. The charge time aligns with what you'd expect from any wireless charging - longer than you'd expect.Comes with one (1) brush head. Waterproof and pretty tough construction. I purchased two more for my kids to share among themselves.
