Horrible Chilis Cooked in Vinegar
The first time I tried Sambal was in Curacao. It was homemade by the Indonesian restaurant chef in Lemongrass at Bluebay. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. This stuff tastes like chilis cooked in vinegar. I also bought the Sambal Oelek from Zypermart Living Mindfully, which was also horrible.
