It's an amazing chair just the padding isn't for me
It's an amazing chair. Please note the casters on it were a seprate purchase (love them btw) and were only $15. I didn't break the casters for this chair out of their packagings but they looked better than what you'd find in a Staples store and same non abrasive material that is on my casters were on the standard size casters. I like the rollerblade style casters because it helps bring any chair to my 30in tall desk. Can't say this chair would do that stock but I can say I am 6'2" and if you're taller than me then this chair will fit you for sure. This chair is high quality! The polyurethane foam is also on the firm side with a quick rebound. Unfortunately for me this caused a pressure point on my tailbone and caused my legs to fall asleep. If you don't mind a firm seat then this may be for you or you can add in a pad to soften it as this has an adjustable whole backrest that won't sacrifice lumbar support. It can go up about 6 clicks and beyond that it resets and slides back down. If I had to estimate the height from bottom to top that would be 5-6-ish inches of adjustment. The seat is froward and backward adjustable as well. This is especially important for a tall person to play with as the stock position is only good for shorter people. Moving the seat out feont turned it from very uncomfortable to mildly uncomfortable at first. Give it about 10 minutes or so and I wasn't feeling great but my back was better for it with my lumbar not slammed into the back. The lumbar portion isn't adjustable. You have to adjust the seat back height to make it better for you. The seat as well is bigger than your average office chair. The armrests felt pretty good quality. Adjusts up, down, forward, back, and side to side. It's a harder rubber foam with a slight give. All mechanical aspects of this chair was awesome. None of the mechanisms were gritty or rough to use from handling plastics(looking at you Staples!). I imagine that this chair would last or outlast the 5 year warranty.

Great build quality - comfort is yet to be determined (breaking it in)
I just received the chair and writing this initial review while sitting on it. This initial review is about the build quality and assembly process. I will update much later after the chair has been broken in as far as comfort.Build quality is excellent.- The base, armrests, and backrest frame are made of aluminum- The seat mechanism is made of steel as is the gas lift- The top parts of the armrests are plastic and so are the backs of the headrest, seat, and lumbar piece- The seat and lumbar piece are well padded and very firm- The wheels are mid-tier grade (no need to replace them)Easy assembly.- Took me less than 10 minutes to assemble (and will take me less than 5 minute to assemble another one)- One should use the box the chair shipped in as platform to assemble (have it stand on its tallest side - see first pic)- Using the shipping box as platform will have you working standing and will allow the armrests and backrest to hang freely while assembling (the chair assembles upside down)Adjustability...- Great but lacking the ability to tilt the seat. I like my seats flat or slightly tilted upward- The seat does not move forward enough for me (I have long legs)- When pushed back, the seat is unusable (only a child would find it comfortable)- In fact, my old chair (HBADA) feels at least one inch longer as far as sitting surface, but this is due to the lumbar padding of the ALFA which pushes you one inch forwardComfort...- I will update on comfort as I let the chair break in and allow my body to adjust to the chair- My old chair is a HBADA that is fully broken in and that is much less padded (I am not used to a well padded chair yet)- For now, this new chair is not yet comfortable except when fully reclined- It will be unfortunate to have to return it if comfort does not improve due to the better build quality

Excellent chair with good lumbar support.
The chair was easy to put together. It took about 15 minutes taking my time. Overall the chair is good. The lumbar support is excellent. The chair is well built, and sturdy. The seat is firm and not that comfortable. Maybe it becomes more comfortable with extended use. I have used it about 45 days. The arm rests are hard plastic. I just recently bought some pads fit the armrests, and that seem to add comfort fit my arms/elbows.

Very comfortable chair
As a software engineer, I spend >8 hours sitting on my chair, so a comfortable chair is critical for me. This ergonomic chair works perfectly with my body. My previous one did not allow me to adjust the height of the armrest and my arms usually got tired. This chair resolves it. What's more, it almost allows you to adjust everything: seat height, back position, back locking, and tilting tension, seat depth, armrest position and height, and backrest height. I am glad that I find this hidden treasure. So far I have been sitting on it for 3 days and I always feel comfortable. The ergonomic chair in my company office has an MRSP of over $1000 (I love that but right now I'm working from home so I have to get one for my home use) which I cannot afford. This ergonomic chair is much cheaper but it provides the same comfortability.Photo 1 is my normal setting with high armrest, shallow seat depth and straight backrest. Photo 2 is low armrest, deep seat depth and lying backrest position. As for the assembling, it takes myself 15 minutes to do that. So pretty easy.

Meh, a little too tall and a little too stiff
This chair sits a little high for my liking. My legs are at too much of a slope, and there is more pressure on back of my legs from the edge of the seat than I'd prefer. Also, the seat cushion could stand to be a little more padded. I end up feeling sore from a full day at my desk with this chair. For the price, it's ok.Not great, but not terrible.
