Exactly what I expected, a quality Budget friendly knife

This is the third Mercer Culinary knife that I have bought (3 sizes). All are super sharp, hone well and are very comfortable to use. They seem to be very near the quality of my Henckels which was about 4 times the price. I already have my eye on another one.

I received this knife quite quickly and it is exactly as described. I am happy with the purchase. The size is perfect for everyday use. It's obvious that a cutting knife would be sharp... it's best not to forget with this one. I was washing my knives and lightly bumped my knuckle against the knife in the water. As soon as I took my hand out of the water, I was bleeding considerably. I'm not complaining at all... just be careful with this knife. It does an excellent job.

I've owned one of these for 3 years now and I still love the feel of this knife when I use it. The handle is ergonomic, the knife feels properly weighted, and the blade was very sharp from the moment I received it. It has seen light use (used a few times a week), and I've not had to sharpen it yet. I like this knife so much, I bought another one as a gift, and the recipient could not be happier with it.
