ProSelect Plastic Cat Deluxe Platforms, Set of 3

Shelves are sturdy and fit well in the cat condos that are meant for. Easy to clean with disinfectant and cleaner and easy to wipe off. Would prefer them to be cheaper as I can almost buy a brand new cap playpen for the price of the 3 shelves.

Bought to replace plastic shelves from same company that were back-ordered; decided to try this slightly less expensive choice. Have used them for only a few weeks, but they seem much more sturdy than what we had before. I like the vinyl covered metal hooks instead of the molded plastic - seems like they will be far less likely to break or fail. Because they are wider than what they replaced. there are less options for placement in the cat condo (cage), but that isn't a problem, in my view. Plus, the wider shelf gives the cats more space at that level. Will buy again.

The Proselect Cat Cage Deluxe platforms are a plastic sheet with wire structure. The wire structure has hooks made to rest on the corresponding sides of the frame of the kitty condo. The hooks do not hook under the the corresponding sides of the frame to help hold the platforms in place and safely support a kitten. The hooks on the ends of the platforms are not long enough to reach the corresponding sides of the wire condo. They do not fit as indicated in the picture of the product. The platforms and hooks are not adjustable. Since the platforms do not fit they are useless to me. I can not recommend this item and would never buy another.

The dinky little shelves in the playpens are not enough if you need to confine a cat or two for more than several hours at a time, but these took care of that problem. I added a second shelf to the middle one in my playpens to double the width and accommodate either feeding bowls or a big place to let a cat s-t-r-e-t-c-h out! These are a lot more substantial than the ones provided, too, so in some cases I replaced an original shelf with one of these as I added an extra shelf. (That's for the 20+ pound fellas!) All the cats love the playpens since I made that small change.

This thing is really cool and easy to set up. It takes two people because it is heavy, but it's all connected and snaps into place. I was hoping it would be a little more solid in how it clipped together, because it uses weight and pressure to keep itself up rather than clipping, but it seems to be sturdy.I don't like the platforms too much. It only gives you three, which are sort of flimsy and uncomfortable, and only one pad you can actually put on one platform, so it isn't altogether useful, but I suppose it's better than nothing. They seem like they will stay in place, but they just seem cheaply made.But it's a good product all in all!

Out cat is an "in-door" cat who can now enjoy being outside with his new Cat Cage! He loves climbing onto the different platforms and with the set up it's always easy to give him good or treats as well!We're going to be driving a long way soon and fortunately have enough room for his Cat Cargo and will be much happier than just being in a small car carrier!

We purchased these shelves even after reading reviews about the problems with them. We had little choice as we are unable to make our own and couldn't find anything else affordable. I paid $36 for a set of 3 in an open box. I think the full price is absolutely ridiculous, especially since they have problems.PROs: - frame is sturdy metal, VERY unlikely to ever break - shelf size is large enough for a big cat to stretch out - easy to cleanCONs: - full price is expensive IMHO (could not find them cheaper elsewhere, even eBay) - the hooks do NOT stay attached to the cage - VERY DANGEROUS!!RECOMMEND: do not use these shelves without securing them to the cage. If (when) the shelf falls, it's actually heavy enough to severely injure or possibly even fatally injure kittens, possibly even an adult. It was easy enough to do, but my family of 3 was working together. I think 1 person could do it, just have patience. We put our cage on the floor, upside down, and did it that way. We used these http://amzn.com/B00004WLJ9 to secure each corner to the cage (you can also find the ties in black if you prefer). Attach them to the shelf frame corners, NOT the hooks.SIDE NOTE: we do not have a ProSelect cage, but they still worked for us. MEASURE your cage before ordering. We used the 3 shelves to turn our large cage into 2 smaller cages. One of the shelves had to overlap another a little bit, but it has affected nothing and the cats don't care. :)

My cat loves this cage. She's afraid of my other cats because they pick on her, so she is very comfortable in it. I recommend this to people, if they have the same problems. It was a little hard getting the wheels on, but once you get them on, it's smooth rolling!

Ce n'est pas une cage mais simplement 3 plateaux avec encrage , GROSSE FRAUDE!!! Tablettes x3 seulement sans la cage

Excelente es muy fácil instalarlas aunque solo cupo una plataforma porque compré una jaula más chica, logra su propósito, recomendable.
