I saw some bad reviews. Is this product the real deal now? As in does it look like the picture shown and does it work?

I purchased one just a few weeks ago and within five minutes of opening the package I fixed an entry door that was driving us nuts! Yes, it works just as demonstrated in the FastCap YouTube video.

I'm seeing two images for this tool. Is it a wrench type of tool for the door hinge?

I'm not sure if you mean two separate tools or a tool that can do more than one thing. One end has a long metal rod that helps to push out door hinge pins. The other end looks much like a wrench but has an adjustable "clamp" is made specifically to fit around a door hinge. There's a great How-to video on it's use on YouTube done by See Jane Drill. I used it on two different types of doors, one with vintage hinges and the other with modern day hinges; in both instances it worked like a charm. I'd never worked on door hinges before. It's a great tool.

My door is sticking on the top of the door frame on the strike plate side. Which way do I bend the knuckles on the door and the door frame hinge?

What's the difference between this and a regular adjustable wrench? Wouldn't an either do just about the same thing? Look at the pics. They made one!

Zoom in on the front of the jaw. You could take an adjustable wrench and do some grinding and make your own if you’re a good fabricator. But it’s really not the different.

Very Effective and Efficient

This tool is a lifesaver for any adjustments. We are wrapping up a renovation, so installing new pre hung doors and matching hinges. It takes maybe three minutes per door to dial in the new hinges, if needed. It also is not restricted by tight spaces (in corners and such). It is also quite durable, no issues and no complaints. 10/10 would recommend.

Works reallt well. We bought one for each trailer. Can do the adjustments when he hinge still attached to rhe door. Unless the trim is too close.
