Great Deal
I'll say this was one of the easiest products to set up. They give a nice manual for setup with a step by step, but honestly you probably won't even need the manual because if you have the smarthome app open as soon as this device hits your network it detects and begins setup in the app then prompts you to add your remotes. I'm assuming the manual is really just for IF the initial connection fails. But anyways, this product is a fantastic deal. How many other remotes I've looked at cost an arm and a leg only to come with default options for remotes with no real learning capabilities. Then this one says screw that and allows you to copy any buttons you want and goes beyond allowing you to control it remotely from the internet, set timers, scenes, etc. It's better than I'd hopped for. Honestly I didn't really want to have to even use a remote for the device I was trying to control, the fact I can set this device with preset commands and forget it is great. I just set it to come on with an outlet in my house and did a preset key combo. Amazing! It's so nice to just not have to touch the stupid remote. It was such a weird remote too, but in the app you can clone any IR button in seconds from any remote to make custom remotes. I was very skeptical when I bought it but it was such a fast set up I spent more time thinking about how I wanted to automate it than I did connecting the device and setting up the remote. My only issue with this product is that "other" remotes a.k.a remotes that aren't recognized that you make yourself don't show up in google home. So you won't be using voice control for those odds and ends. Which is fine for me but depending on your needs may be an issue for you...Personally I just automated mine but that may not be something you want. Any recognized remote will show up immediately in google home.Still, for the money this device really can't be beat. The ability to set up any IR device, set schedules, key combinations, control from anywhere, etc. It's great, far more than a regular universal remote for a fraction of a normal universal remote. It's so small too, barely even noticeable.

Good WIFI Remote
Pretty decent . The device database isn't the best but IR learning was great. I have yet to find a wifi remote that hasthe IR strength of a Harmony Hub but this device does a decent job .Id give to 5 stars if the device database was more extensive and the IR blaster was stronger.

Controls my Samsung TV from 30 feet
The phone app for this device works like a remote control device for my TV. I can control my TV from long distances, 30 feet from my dining room to the family room. Pairing the device with my phone was easy. Great value!

Very unstable
This blaster is very tiny which means you can tuck it away in tight spaces. That’s the good about it and also it’s not difficult to set up.The issue is that it is not very stable so at times you need to unplug and replug to connect again to devices. If you look at the device itself you will see at times the light blinks when it gets a command but nothing happens until you disconnect and reconnect to power other than that it’s great when it’s working

CANNOT CONTROL LIGHTS WTH ALEXA WITH THIS BLASTER
I use several different IR blasters around my house. Several, including this one, would NOT connect LIGHTS to my ALEXA app. I have spent HOURS trying to figure out why and how to solve this problem to no avail, and have simply realized this -- With different IR blaster models, you'll notice that the interface to connect devices/remotes is either a white or black background. If your IR blaster uses the white interface, then you will face the following scenario/problem:Smartlife app finds my IR blaster, no problem. Blaster reads/connects my remotes, no problem. I can then control all the devices I've connected using the Smartlife app. But of course I want to integrate them all with Alexa. Alas if the blaster uses the WHITE INTERFACE, the Alexa app will not find/recognize any LIGHTS connected through through this blaster. It'll see all other devices -- TVs, Soundbar, etc, but NO LIGHTS. If your blaster uses the BLACK INTERFACE, Alexa will find and can control the lights, no problem. The moral of the story -- THIS BLASTER USES THE WHITE INTERFACE AND ALEXA WILL NOT FIND ANY LIGHTS CONNECTED THROUGH IT. If you're using it for anything other than connecting lights to Alexa, this blaster works fine, great even. Otherwise, I've found only my round Larkkey blasters use the black background and will connect lights to Alexa no problem. I've had to swap out blasters all over my house because of this. Hopefully my wasted time dealing with this issue will spare yours.
