I've been looking for some dried squid for a while now. Had some once as a kid and thought it was great. This doesn't disappoint. It has a slight spiciness to it that really adds to the flavor and what seems to have a natural sweetness. It's a great snack! Will buy again.

This is super delicious. Been to Hawaii once many decades ago but this dried cuttlefish is super tasty. It has a sweet taste. Love this. I will order from this company again.

I was listening to an NPR show where they asked people about favorite family foods which others think are odd. One fellow said he grew up in Korea eating dried squid. To him it was a comfort food snack, but he couldn’t convince any of his American friends how good it was.So naturally, I immediately got onto amazon to see if I could find dried squid. The nearest I came was the Asia Trans Company dried cuttlefish – which I figured must be close.When it arrived, I opened the package and was reasonably happily munching along when my husband came home from work. He took two steps into the kitchen as asked, “What is that awful smell?” Yep, it was cuttlefish fishy smelling wafting across the room. My dear husband wouldn’t come close to me!As a person who had never eaten dried cuttlefish before, I can say that it is an interesting snack. The fishy flavor was OK by me. But now that I know how it affects persons around you who are not eating it, it isn’t as likely I’ll try it again. The consistently is chewy and I liked that. You took a bit of it and it lasted a while.As I didn’t grow up with dried squid, I cannot, unfortunately, give a comparison to other brands.Happy Reader

There’s no ingredient list and in the enlarged photo in the product details section is only says “shredded dried squid” in the yellow rectangle on the front of the package. In the section “looking for specific info?” there is no feature for ingredients there either. However, if you enlarge the initial product photo (which I didn’t) one can see it contains milk.This is just a warning for others who cannot have dairy. I’m sure it’s a delicious snack but I cannot have it and my dog won’t touch it.Manufactures and sellers need to up their game clearly listing ingredients as food sensitivities continue to be on the rise.

They're good but kind of strong. Personally it was okay to me and brought back nostalgia, but my taste buds have changed over the years so this was interesting to say the least. Lol... If you like seafood and jerky and want them together you'll love this!

This is so good! I went back and bought 3 more bags. It's the texture of tender beef jerky, and tastes a little sweet. Definitely would recommend if you like these kinds of snacks!
